WANTED: Male Yorkie in CA Hello YorkieTalk.com! I am new to this place and decided to join in desperation of finding a Yorkie. I have been actively looking for a while now and I have not had any luck. I live in the SF Bay Area and looking for a place within traveling distance, but also willing to pay for shipping costs. I have been struggling to find a Yorkie and it has been very exhausting looking through several ads and have yet to find a truthful seller. I am a very serious buyer looking for a male yorkie but I am on a budget of around $300-$400 at the most. I have seen several pups reaching beyond $500 and honestly if I were able to afford the price, I wouldnt be searching anymore. If you guys could PLEASE help me out.. It would be greatly appreciated. You would be saving me a ton of emails saying the puppy is in another country because the owner is off doing missionary work (you wouldnt believe how many emails I've gotten back with that response) Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you guys!

You could try contacting Patricia Greene from Emerald Acres. She might have a young adult male at that price. Give her a call. I believe she also may have a website. She breeds both Golden Retrievers and Yorkshire Terriers and she does compete w/ her dogs and has all the appropriate health screenings from what I can remember! Good luck, it looks like you're wanting to spend a little to get a lot and I wish you the best.

I live close to you. We must tell you, Yorkies in that price range are either sick, oversize, stolen or a scam. I have only seen one yorkie in that price range in our area and it was a retired breeder. I wish you luck. BTW: I know of 743 other hopefull owners within 50 miles whom have no more than $500 to spend. They are constantly looking.

Some people just don't know what they really should be looking for. I know that Patricia Green may have a young adult that she'd be willing to sell at that price that has not a single thing wrong w/ it. I'd still give her a call. Here is her site: http://www.emeraldsgoldens.com/index.html

Thank you Thanks for the response guys. I know my budget is a bit small, it might not make much a difference but I have bumped it to $600.

You won't know until you start making phone calls. That is a cheap price for these dogs, but I'm sure there's someone somewhere that has what you're looking for that's healthy. I gave you a great start! Good luck and keep us posted.

| 600 is more reasonable. Yorkies are expensive but it's more expensive to raise one! Wishing the best of luck. Now that you bumped the price, you are looking at more possibilities
