Its tedious, and I appreciate tedious breeders with ready answers. The best part about all of this, is that if we dont like the answers we get, we are free to walk away (NOT harass... pointless!) and the right person will come along for both the breeder and the buyer. In the end everything works out and there is no need to push a matter if we dont agree with it or feel uncomfortable with the questions or answers we recieve. That, ultimately, was meant to be my point. Sorry that I am so long winded! LOL

I said before and will say again that I think your pups are lovely. I also have no problem with hobby or pet breeders, but I already talked about that. I meant no harm and didnt mean to offend anybody, just speak in earnest of my own opinions. Much peace to you and yours.

I have been on here since Feb. 2005 and mainly when we have had litters. I know more than I show. Keep up with me as I add photo's and the babies grow and show individualism. I used to put new born pictures on, but to me the picture mainly at that age just shows they are born. The litter before this a lady in Wichita that does show her male in AKC events, and he does rather well got her pick of a female from us. When it comes to showing I learned the most from her. Which is not a whole lot but she found us here. She prefers a male as she says many do for AKC events. She also said the the closer to the upper AKC weight range (Standard AKC weight is 4-7 pounds) is preference for showing. I didn't know that. It's not your fault that I am a little defensive today. I haven't had a lot to put on here and chat about until the new puppies were born. When I did it seemed I was fair game. Not you, I am not talking about you. I was asked many questions which to me was personal. I have a private life. Now if a person wants to buy I will share more info about me, and expect the same. I am very honest and take this very seriously. If I don't know something I do have the means to find out, and I will. I do not show Yorkie's in competition, but I do know, I was very particular in my choices for pets. Yorkie's are very hypoallergenic, intelligent and shed less than I do..he he. They all have their own personality's and I chose Sir (my Male) for his size and beautiful deep reddish gold highlight and black with light blue steele color, size and his pedigree. I chose the girls for : Ashley is petite build color and I know back to her grandmother and the pedigree. Tina is Ashley's sister from a later litter with the same mother and father, but has a more stocky build. My female baby's go so fast!
I used to get on Yorkietalk more and it is a chore when both girls have puppies within 3-5 days of each other to get on at all. I started learning quite a bit before I ever brought the parents home as pups. I used to teach Medical Assisting and have worked in the medical field. I taught Anatomy and Physiology, injections, front office and Phlebotomy. I did IV's and assisted in minor surgery for a few years.
I learned to dock the tails and remove the dew claws and do them myself with experienced supervision after the first litter. Student loan money well invested..he he I also give the Vaccinations myself. I don't ship puppies but will go out of my way to meet or deliver myself if others can't pick them up themselves and it is a decent distance. I do have a vet check at least once and twice if picked up and carried in passenger coach on a plane. Doing that, I get the Health Certificate through our Vet. which is required for flight within 10 days of the flight. The puppy must be 8 weeks old. I won't ship in cargo hold. I also litter box train (with paper in the box) which makes it much easier for the new owners. Just start moving the box till it is at the front door, then move it right outside. Normally they will then let you know when they want out, as most people don't have the time to take a puppy out every 30 minutes or so to potty train. AND you say YOU are long winded? he he... I just got broad sided earlier this evening and got a little defensive and dropped it. I am not new to yorkie's and not new here. I just try and be polite and don't get me wrong, I do LOVE to hear what others say, but I try and not get into personal question answering in public when I have filled in our phone #, email address and can be private messaged. I will tell you this here tough. If I was physically able to be a trainer for AKC shows, I would learn more about it and would pick one of my pups, train it, and go earn some points. I think that would be great! But I am not. I hold no hard feelings toward you, like I say I do like to hear other's points of views. If I am asked some questions though I may not answer on post pages. It may be in a private message, or a call to me, just be prepared to get real answers to questions that way more easily. Friends? Mary will get a kick out of it too! Starsky is lookin GOOD! Yes 3 F 3 M this time! They are doing wonderful!! But the girls it is looking like are all gone ALREADY!
