| Is this safe? Hi! Do you know this guy personally? If so, I'm sure it is okay. Otherwise, it sounds somewhat suspicious to me with him only accepting postal money orders, but maybe that is just me. Does everyone else think it would be okay? If so, I might be interested then.

| I hate when people discourage getting an older dog. Our shepard mix was rescued when she was a young adult. She has never been a problem. My sister's mother-in-law took her sister and she is good too. There are good older dogs out there that would make wonderful pets.

| pups Sounds like they think the only good pet is a puppy. I wonder if they would say the same thing if they had adults to sell? |

| I think he is advising to just buy puppies. He says in his opinion they form a stronger bond that way. Sheesh. Our shepard's bond with us is just as strong as Gus'. Others here have written about older rescues having an almost grateful attitude. Mine did. We think she was abused because for the longest time she would cower if you moved too fast. Being able to show her she was safe and loved was the best feeling in the world. I can't disagree, getting a puppy is wonderful but it is a shame that some people think you can't get a terrific older dog.

| That's hilarious Pat!!! You're right!!! If he were selling older dogs we'd be hearing how they'd already be trained/housebroken - and so much easier I'm sure! lol Kelley |
