| Female Yorkie Puppy Wanted Good morning, My wife and I live in the Northern Virginia area, just outside of Washington, DC. My wife grew up w/ Yorkies, and has never lost her love for them. We are both animal lovers. We are interested in a female puppy. We do not have any intention of showing or breeding the dog, we are just looking for a pet. My wife will not purchase a pup from pictures, we need to meet the puppy before purchasing. We are willing to travel a fair distance, say a weekend trip. If anyone has a female pup for sale in VA, DC, MD, DE, NJ, PA, or NC, please email me at upsdrvr@hotmail.com. Pictures welcome. If you have a picture that is too large for Hotmail, please email me at the Hotmail address and I will provide an alternative address. Rest assured that the pup will be loved, and spoiled rotten within a couple weeks. Thank you very much, Brian |

| Good luck in your search! Sounds like you will provide a very loving home for some lucky little Yorkie! The only advice I can give you is to check out the breeder section of www.ytca.org if you haven't already.

| You are lucky enough to live fairly close to one of the best breeders around. Rini, (whispersmom) is in Annapolis, you can pm her for information. Best of luck....and welcome to yt!

| Hey, I'm the one who e-mailed you earlier. I checked some ticket prices and some pet policies with some airlines today on line. A round trip ticket from Omaha to DC only costs about $150 (depending when you go) and to take a pet as a carry on its around 80 to have it in the cargo its 100. let me know what you think.

| Folks- Thanks for the replies and encouragement. Through this forum I was able to find a wonderful breeder relatively close to my home. Unfortunately, my wife got cold feet at the last minute. We have 2 other dogs, and while I don't think there would be any conflict w/ the other dogs, my wife isn't sure she is ready for 3. When she told me to start looking, I don't think she expected such quick results. The search will continue, just at a later date. Again, many thanks. When the time is right I will be sure to come back here. Brian |
