| Gotcha. That's a little further....hmm, well the breeders I could suggest would mean a 3-4 hour drive, if you're interested. Also, check the classified listings (online is better) for your big city papers within a couple hours-drive radius. Call the listings and have very specific questions for the breeders such as AKC registration and the weight of the parents, price, etc. That's actually how we found our little Sully! And we're so glad!!!

| I'm in Va. too Hi there I didnt find too many good breeders near me.I found a great breeder from this site in NY . Afew I have recently found in my area too. I'm in the Yorktown Va. area.. Good luck with your search and if I can be of any help let me know .

| I got my Yorkie from www.appalachianyorkies.com. The breeder is in Southern VA, It's a 7 hour drive from Northern,VA. I paid $750 for my female. The breeder was very helpful, and my dog is super healthy. Very well adjusted, alert, clean bill of health, and was obviously around people alot. I strongly suggest this breeder. I think she just had a litter too, so those will be ready in a month and a half, or two. I'm seriously thinking of buying another one from her, end of this year, beginning of next. I think my Coco needs a playmate. Good luck.
