the reason................ He's a great dog!!! A great family pet or pet for someone older. The reason we're selling him is ONLY because he got too big to use as a stud. We have 5 yorkies right now, 2 males and 3 females. I really don't want to have 2 males in the house. All of our yorkies are pets to us, even though we're trying to do hobby breeding. He reached 8 lbs, and we really didn't think that he'd reach that big. kwim? I hate to sell him, because he's one of the best family dogs we've ever had. He's great with kids. Never chews on anything, hardly ever barks. He's great!! I hope we can find him a home soon. Whoever buys him, his belly bands will go with him too. He's pretty much house broken, but with having so many dogs in the house, we are playing it safe with our boys. lol

How come you just do not neuter him, and keep him around as a pet like your others, if he is the best family pet you have ever had. I have 3 Miniature Pinschers and 1 Yorkie. I do hobby breeding as well. I am actually expecting my first litter in April. If any of my dogs stayed too small or got too big for breeding, I would just fix them and keep them around for the companionship. Just my personal opinion. At the same time, you could be blessing someone who just wants a yorkie as a pet. Hope he ends up where he is meant to be, with lots of love and loyalty. Keep us posted! Bye

Aw, I know how hard it is to keep too many males as pets. I have done that a few times and then I really am sad when I let one go. Good luck with finding a new home for your boy..

The reason........... Ok, I understand what you mean about keeping him because of him being such a great pet. But, I guess you have to understand my situation. First of all, we are trying to get our hobby breeding going, but on top of that, I'm raising 4 boys ages 11 and under, so having 5 dogs and 4 growing boys, that's alot, on top of costly. kwim? We do hate to sell him, but we have to think of $$ too, and the maintance of another pet. We hope to find a wonderful home for him.

Either way it is a blessing. Keep him as a pet or bless someone who wants a yorkie for a pet. Care and a forever home is what he needs and will get. Luck and Bless!!
