| Looking for puppy near Tallahassee First post so bear with me please. We live in Tallahassee, willing to drive a ways (Atlanta, Jacksonville, Pensacola, etc) for the right puppy. We have no interest in breeding or showing, just want a good healthy pup. Our 14-year-old and 12-year old (just deceased) yorkies' personalities were just like their parents, so I'd love to meet the parents if possible. Any recommended breeders in our vicinity? Thanks for any tips---looking at websites has just convinced me I can't tell the difference between a good breeder and a good salesperson. They all say the right things.... |

| In the Atlanta area check out TyAva or Vangogh. I have a vangogh puppy but she doesn't have puppies that often. TyAva is just as reputable but has puppies more often. Do a forum search for both and you'll see what people are saying about both.

| Thank you so much, I've emailed both. Van Gogh doesn't have any pups and I'm waiting to hear from TyAva. This is all so confusing, thanks again for the recommendation. |

| Tyava is slow for emails. Give a call. Those seem to be most successful for inquiries. Her daughter Missy will most likely help you.

| We drove from Virginia to Atlanta three weeks ago to get Millie from TyAva. We are thrilled with her sweet little self, and it was worth the trip--folks are still laughing at us for going so far, but it was worth it.
