Yorkie Yakker | Looking to get a Biewer yorkie for my sister Looking to get a Biewer yorkie for my sister. Few month ago she lost her husband and her beloved dog in a terrible accident. We all trying to cheat her up, make this Holiday season a little joyful for her. We are in New York, but I don't mind to travel or pay for a flight. Doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl. Doesn't have to be a puppy. Please leave a message if you have anything available. The dog will get so much love and affection. Thank you . |

| It's really nice of you to be thinking about how to help make your sister happy. She must be grieving so much for her husband and dog. Do you know for sure if your sister wants a new dog now? If she isn't ready for it yet, it may not be the good surprise that you want it to be. I mention this because just last week, my husband told me how his secretary at work was given a "surprise" puppy to give her some companionship by her dad -- only to admit that she was glad to not have a dog (her dog had passed away a few months ago) and the responsibility of it. Now she is stuck with a young puppy and trying to housetrain it herself and all. If all is good and your sister does want a new pup, then Biewers are great! We have a little one ourselves and just love his personality. We got him from a breeder in PA who has since sold her breeding stock to someone else. But others on this list may have suggestions for you. All the best ! |

| Awww....that is a sweet gesture. Have you talked to her about getting a puppy. If you haven't, maybe you should hint around to see how she feels about it. IDK her situation, but I know that taking care of an animal is a big responsibility and it's an even bigger responsibility when you are doing it by yourself. If she works full time, she is going to need to find out how to get home to let the dog out...especially if it is a puppy. If her financial situation has changed since she lost her husband, she may not be able to afford having another dog. If she's mourning the loss of her husband and dog, a new dog could just be a painful reminder of what she lost. If she plans on doing some traveling away from home, a pet can also hinder that. Not trying to discourage you at all....as I said, I have no idea what kind of situation your sister is in....just being the devils advocate. Just recently, I tried to convince my friend to get a dog...he lives alone and he gets lonely and i think he'd really benefit from having a companion...and he's able to have a dog, but he doesn't seem to want one right now. He's had dogs...he likes dogs....and to me, it makes perfect sense for him to get one...but he doesn't see it that way. I am super glad that I didn't just come over with a dog in my arms to give to him...because I thought about doing that!! LOL!! Hopefully you've talked to your sister about it before surprising her. If you haven't, you may want to...or just be prepared to take on the puppy yourself if it doesn't work out. |

Yorkie Yakker | Hi, I spoke to her. They are ready. Especially the kids, they want exactly the kind they had. I think getting a new pup will make it better for all of them. All I need to pray now is for Christmas miracle, to find one in a reasonable price. Most ask only shipping $500 and others don't ship at all. With all my heart I thank for all your concerns. |
