Yorkie Yakker | Looking for a female yorkie Hi, I am in Ny. Looking for a female yorkie, doesn't have to be a puppy. Age 1-2 is fine too. She will be a sister to my yorkie girl Lola. I actually got my gorgeous girl from yorkie talk, and she brought so light and happiness to my familly. She is the best thing that happened to us. She likes to play with the meighbour dogs, so we decided to look for a sister for her, someone she could share all her toys and clothes with. If you have a yorkie around 4 pounds, and you looking for a loving familly for her, please send a message. Thanks |

| Shelter dogs are great dogs too... I just adopted out my first foster who came from a shelter. She was dropped off there because her owner died. She had a good family... and is an amazing girl. I hope you change your opinion on shelter dogs

Yorkie Yakker | I tried a shelter dog and it was a very painful experience for all of us. I had to take him back with tears ......crying like the baby, he was with us 2 weeks.....but the building I live in threatened to evict us out, he was barking so loud even at nights. He scared my little Lola, she refused to get under the bed. ....it wasn't easy...... |

Yorkie Yakker | I guess dog from shelters that spent long time there learn to get tough and thats the way they survive in these places. Lola needs a playpal, not someone that is not even allowing her to sleep. She needs a house dog, you probably been lucky and got a dog that didn't spend lot of time in the shelter and was loved by his owner. You lucky. |

| Both of mine bark like crazy and they never lived at a shelter. I hope you reconsider getting another dog because you never know... they may bark. I don't see that as something worth getting rid of a dog for

| Not to add another variable, but you may want to consider getting a male Yorkie. Two females could work but they may clash. I have 4 Yorkies and a poodle mix. The two girls do not get along at all. I have heard that before, not sure why but I have heard and it's been my experience that a boy and girl might get along better. One of my girls is very bossy and she really goes after the other female in the house or happens to be a submissive dog. She gets along fine with the three boys.

My furkids Donating Member | We just added another yorkie to our family...this makes 3 now.. and they are barkers!! I have tried everything to stop them from barking...I even bought one of those bark control things....doesn't work! money wasted!! I know 2 females can get along fine but, sometimes don't...Maybe consider a male?

Yorkie Yakker | Maybe you right, and I should consider a male, my dog is fixed, have nothing to worry about. So if someone has a male in a reasonable price, I promice the best home ever. Still female prefferedL..... But Lola really need a play buddy, she is spoiled but she will get along with anyone.mshe is a real blessing. |

| I have a little male that is 11 weeks old that will be ready for his new home next week. He should be around 4-5lbs judging from his parents and what his growth charts are showing. As far as the barking goes, I have only had one Yorkie that was a yapper. We got him as an adult and with consistency he was trained not to bark unless someone came to the door. |
