| Harrisburg, PA - looking for reputable breeders! Hello, my name is Zac. My wife (Lea) and I have been diligently searching for a reputable breeder of Yorkies in the Central PA are for a few months now. For the past 2 years we have been in a lease which prohibited us from adding to our family like we wanted to. So we have researched, bought all of the things that we would need when the time came (crate, pads, etc.) and have been educating ourselves about training and about the breed. We are now able to finally add our next addition and can't seem to find anything that isn't a puppy mill. We have no preference regarding the sex of the puppy, we just want to see their temperment / personality and go from there. We are willing to travel withing the PA & MD area, possibly to NY & NJ if we need to. We have no children but plan on having a few in the next 2+ years. It seems many of the posts on the forum are from years ago, so anyone that can point us in the right direction would be a great help! -Zac & Lea |

| I have also been searching through the YTCA site looking for reputable breeders. I see a lot of views - does anyone have any recommendations/referrals? |

| Ok, so I'll say what others may be thinking, and not saying. Perhaps if you are considering having a "few" children in the next couple years, you may want to consider a sturdier breed of dog. I think some breeders will be hesitant with you as well. You sound like a lovely couple though, and I think it's wonderful that you've been doing your homework, and researching so much. Please don't think I'm being mean. I know there are lots of families with young children here on YT. I'm just giving my opinion as to why you may not have gotten any answers. Quote:

| We just got our new baby boy from Paradise Yorkies in Pueblo, Colo...What a great breeder...He is just beautiful, 5 mos. old and very smart. They live in the house with the family and learn a lot from mom and dad. He is a very calm and loving little boy. |
