YorkieTalk Newbie! | Looking to adopt an older Yorkie Hello all ! After 15 years our Lola passed away.....its very hard on all of us and especially on my kids. I Thanks God for every day she spent with us..... she was a precious Angel.... Now we ready for a new dog, we prefer 1-3 years old. This will be our one and only pet, and I can assure you that she or he will be coming to a very stable and loving familly. The kids are grown up, and we prefer a little size dog 3-4 lbs. Preferbly a female, since we had allready a girl. I live in NY, so preferably a puppy from around NY. I did try all the rescue groups, before I posted here , but just couldnt find anything. If you have a dog that you loooking for a good home for him and at a resonable price, we will be glad to give him all the love and effection that he deserves. Thank you and have a wonderful Holiday !!! |

YorkieTalk Newbie! | I did get my yorkie, and she has such an adorable face (sorry, couldn take a pic yet) , she is 1 year old. But she is so skinny, she weights less then 3 lbs, and thats cause the guy that sold her to me, just wanted to get rid of her - didnt feed her almost at all. She refusing the dry food, my heart goes out to her |

| Congratulations on your new little girl, and WELCOME to YT!! So glad she has found you and will now be given the love and attention that she deserves. Has she been vet checked yet? Given that she is so tiny, I would want to be sure she doesn't have any issues like liver shunt or anything. I personally would give her home cooking (chicken and sweet potatoes, or rice and hamburger, etc) to be sure she gets to eating soon. Good luck with her, and I can't wait to see pics!

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Thanks. I did take her to the vet and he said that she is just fine. Now I am giving her chicken breast and liver, trying to mix it up with a little dry food. She is an adorable curious girl, I am so lucky - I really feel I saved her. I was trying to ask the vet about spaying, and he said she will not hold the anesthetics and to come back in 6 month. I can't believe how someone can be cruel to such tiny sweet thing..... Thanks for your advices, I am happy to get as many As possible, really need incuregment. |

| I am guessing the vet said she could not tolerate the anaesthetic rite now because she's not in good shape & malnourished ? It sounds like you got her just in time to save her little life. Congrats on your new little girl. |

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Well, she is doing surprisingly well, gained weight, got out her depression. She is just a bundle of joy and happines, my kids are fighting every night , who is she going to seep with.....she has her ways to chose. Took her to grooming few days ago, they couldn't believe how she was and how she became. I am actualy looking for a friend for her, another yorkie. Female preferred . So if you have anything available, just leave a message. My Lika is tiny, around 3 lbs and she really deserves a jinn n. |
