| I glad to have a reason to defend myself. I am 55+. My Mother raised tiny Poodles so I followed in her footsteps. I also raised tiny poodles until one day I bought a Yorkie. That was it my heart was taken. I have raised tiny Yorkies all my adult life. I dote on these little dogs more than I did my children. I have never lost a Mother dog, whelping or otherwise. I love raising the tiny dogs, I have devoted my life to it. I do not want bigger Yorkies. As for shipping, I will not ship until 12 weeks. Just because I put the ad on now does not mean I am ready to send them on their way. They will be 7 weeks old this Friday. As for blasting me for what I do without knowing the whole story shame on you. Even if you don't approve of raising tiny's, please MYOB. Have a great day. Linda

| Hi, Linda..I tried not being negative because today is a holiday, anywho...It is commonly frowned upon to breed a female under 5lbs, especially when Breed standard calls for them to be between 4-7lbs. It is wrong to breed a female who is that small, Yorkies aren't poodles thay are a toy breed, they don't come in toy sizes(refer to breed standard) Sorry, for being in your business, however this forum is open to the public..Have a Happy Thanksgiving.. I think it is risky to breed any yorkie whether she is 3 lbs or 8 lbs but I commend those breeders who take the risk because if you didn't we wouldn't have these precious babies in our lives. You should be very proud of your breeding program and your babies are adorable. Good luck in findign them homes. I also grew up with poodles and have switched to yorkies!! | |
