| Looking for chapion sired female Hi, we are looking for a female from a "reliable" breeder that is willing to ship to Florida. We live in the Bahamas and will go to Florida to meet the pup at the airport. We want a breeding quality female with full registration. Are there any breeders that you guys can recomment to us. Thank you. |

| A reputable breeder is not going to just hand over a quality female on open registration. |

| Hi Lorraine, I know that a reutable breeder will not just had over a female to me a God knows I would not want them to. I know and understand that we will have to meet a few criteria first but that is expected. This of course, would not be our first Yorkie as we already have a male that is 7 years old (and we had him from he was 4 months). I started the thread saying that we (my wife & I) want a champion sired female but this is not necessarily the case. She does however, have to be very well bred with champions in her bloodline. |

| You are not looking for a female just for pet. You are obviously looking for one to breed. No reputable quality breeder will hand a female over to you just like that for breeding purposes. You can find breeders that will sell to you and will likely have some champions in the pedigree but they came by them through the back door, ie a good breeder who does show their dogs sold or did a stud service to someone they trusted who betrayed that trust and sold to just anyone who is now selling to anyone. I don't know what happens wher eyou are in the Bahamas if you have dog shows can champion a dog either showing it yourself or having the breeder or a handler do it in the USA or not. What I am saying is a reputable show breeder is not going to sell a bitch to you to just breed and sell puppies. There are contracts, co ownership, you would be expected to put a championship on it, breeding would be planned with the breeders help that you bought her from. |

| If you haven't seen the red flags on their site, you need to do more research. Good luck in your search. |

| I agree, you need to research plenty before even considering to breed. Its not as easy as getting two willing dogs together to make puppies. Be careful with PP yorkies.

On their site they claim to show their dogs. well I checked via the AKC site, they have 13 Picture Perfect registered with AKc and none are champions with AKC. Under Miniville several registered, none champions.

They are easy to talk to and will help you find the right girl for you. I have seen some magnificent Yorkies that come from overseas. I have a couple myself.

However if you are looking for something for the show rings as Europe does not show the same as we do nor do they look for the same in a show dog as we do therefore do not select their breeding stock same as we do in Canada and the US, you will be disappointed. They do not have the structure or temperment for the most part. They usually are much bigger as well compared to here. Of course there are exceptions especially those breeders that are working with North American breeders which is where many are trying to get breeding stock from. Many show breeders won't sell over there anymore unless they know the European breeder very well once it was discovered contracts are nonbinding in Europe. Many very good lines got away from good breeders over here because of that issue.

No Longer a Member | That is your opinion about the structure and temperament, Disappointment? I think not. Myself I find them to be exquisite compared to the U.S. Yorkie. To me there is no comparison to the beauty and grace of the Yorkies not from the U.S. They are very very proud of their yorkies. Anyone can judge for themselves. Here are a few sites to look at.
