Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh gosh....their size struck me, and I just felt compelled to mention that at only 10weeks, and 1.1 / 1.2 pounds - please be VERY careful. As a buyer, I know I really appreciate a breeder who holds back little one until 16weeks.

If you hold them until 16 weeks, you can also get a bile acids test done before they go to their new homes. | |

| Here in Alabama it is very common to let go at 10 weeks. And actually I do keep my puppies longer most people here still sell at 6 weeks trust me. I dont want harm to come to these pups. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Even if it's common in AL, it doesn't mean it's necessarily safe or the right thing to do for the puppy. I don't doubt you want no harm to come to these kiddos, not at all . I'm just saying that as a buyer and a dog-lover, I realllly appreciate breeders who hold back the small ones until they are more sturdy and weigh more. Best of luck with this babies .

| Bottom line is...all anyone can do is make a suggestion..it is not illegal to sell puppies under 12 weeks...I do not agree younger then 12 wks is a good age and even longer for tinies, but all I can do is, state my opinion and leave the breeder to make a choice... I do not see what good it does to "eat people alive" on this forum...it is a matter of educating the buyer...I find many on YT too judgemental..that educates no one and works against the purpose of having a forum. |
