New York Area I am in my search for a Yorkie baby for me and my fiancee. I have been looking at the YTCA site and looking at breeders... Their main goal is raising show quality dogs, not pet quality, so they will maybe have 1 or 2 avaiallbe per year... And I don't even want to think about the price... Is there any advice from NY,NJ PA'ers as to some good breeders... Where have you gotten your Yorkies??? Please help... Thanks.

Much Appreciated... I appreciate it!! It is a very interesting ride thus far. The research I have been doing has been extrememly helpful. I know I live in thw wrong area of the country to try and find one of these babies because they will charge upwards of $2,000 even for just a pet!!! I have been in contact with some very nice breeders and have more I wish to talk with... Any help from fellow NY'ers or Nj or PA or CT folks would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

| I live in Western NY and you are welcome to check out my page: www.simplyyorkies.com I currently have 3 girls and 2 boys available. These are from 2 separate litters. You can email me with any specific questions you might have. Not sure where you are coming from, as I might be too far away. My little Dottie, pictured on the page titled MoLiz Babies Sept 26 2003, lives on 2nd Ave in NYC. We met them halfway when it was time for them to get their baby.

Help! Hi, I'm also looking a Yorkie (to take home within Nov/Dec 2005) (a male) that is in the surrounding NY area. I'm looking to pay around $1,000, possibly 1,200 depending what's included. I actually live in Rockland County, so if you could let me know some info on any Breeders in Rockland, Westchester, anywhere in NY, NJ or PA, that are good quality breeders for pets, let me know please!!!! I want a healthy, socialized baby boy (AKC registered) to spoil rotten and give lots of love. Please help me out, idk who to turn to. Thanx!

I am still searching for a baby yorkie near nyc and long island PLEASE HELP HELLO EVERYONE, i am still searching for a yorkie, possibly 2 , if they are not that much money. i started my search yesterday going to a breeders house , near selden, long island. since she was my first visit in this search, i am a bit confused. the father looked to be a bit large, larger than what she said, around 6 pounds. he was full of very long hair, so maybe he looked larger. i used to have a 6 lb maltese and she never looked that large. the mother was smaller than he was, also with long hair. they both had very tan hair, not much dark hair on them. the breeder had shaved the babies ears and they all (3) of them had curled back ears. she said she does this so they stand straight. ? she said the mother had 5 puppies and 2 were sold already. they are 10 weeks old and weigh 2 lbs. so if anyone out there has any info on where i can go to a breeder in my area, i would reallly appreciate it thanks elle57
