| Welcome to YT! Check the YTCA, the yorkie mother club, for a list of breeders. Also, there are a few good threads for new yorkie moms and dads to read. It lists what to look out for, and what questions to ask. Also, there are a lot of yorkies in rescues that are just waiting for a second chance in life. Good luck on your search.

| I would like to add there are some very bad breeders in Texas, so be careful and do your research and def. check out the ytca breeder list. Good luck.

| You might want to check in with Charlotte with Charming_Yorkie's. I saw that breeder recommended by a few on here and just e-mailed her today. She only had a male puppy right now and I was looking for a female. She did send me a picture of him, and he was very cute. She was asking $650 I believe. She is located in Hallettsville, Texas. She was very helpful to me though, even checking to see if another reputable breeder she knew of might have a female. They did not. All that is see around right now in the size range I am looking for are males. Some others that commented on her before might be able to give more insight. I just knew she had a male that might be of interest. Anyway, good luck to you! |

| I checked out SET as I am looking for a puppy as well. She does have some pretty Yorkies, but are all of hers $1,500 or more? I am one of those that can't quite meet that range category! Looking more at $600-$700. |
