Aww, she is soooo adorable!! What a cutie pie!!

Wow I just realized she has the exact same birth date as my two pups.

What is even more amazing is that I had two girls. And one of the girls I named Angel!!
That is pretty cool that we both got an Angel born on the same day.
My Angel is the smallest of the girls and is being sold with limited registration as well. She is only 1.9lbs.

Why do you think she won't be big enough?

I am keeping the bigger girl in my litter and she weighs the exact same as yours with smaller parents. I have no doubt she will make it to at least 5lbs.

Good luck finding her a home, with a sweet face like that she will find her home in no time!!

Thanks. I think she's a cutie too. I've been breeding this line for many years and my puppies are full grown at 6 months. She may make it to 4 lbs and after surgery, to 4.5 but I won't breed smaller girls. I did that for a couple of years and decided it was too hard on all of us. The momma's, the puppies, and me as well as too many c-sections. Just not worth it in my opinion and since this is a show line with agreements to spay/neuter anything I don't personally keep she gets to be somebodies lovely arm candy companion. I don't think she'll mind.

Hi Valerie. She is absolutely adorable. I hope she finds a wonderful home soon although I'm sure you'll miss her terribly!

Can you believe that Levi will be turning a whole four years old in just four days!! My how times flies. It seems we were just on our way to GA to bring him home. He is most certainly spoiled and one happy little fellow.

Best wishes to you and your babies.

Wow, almost 4 years. You're right how time flies. OlivesMommy is coming up next weekend to get Treasure from PCB. I'm blessed to have wonderful people to give them homes. I believe there is the right home out there for the right puppy to fit your life. I try and have patience that God will bring them together and not be in a rush or push a puppy that may not be right. If I remember correctly, Levi was 7 months old when he came home with you. I was getting a little discouraged at the time but then, there you were. Perfect for him. Thank-you for stopping by to see Angel and give little Levi and kiss from me.

I wish I was in a better place in my life! I would take her in a heartbeat--she is absolutely gorgeous. But two babies in this apartment would be too much right now!

Valerie do you mean that all pups are full grown at six months and willnot likely get any bigger after that? I always thought dogs grew until thay were about 12-18 months old. Am i mis-informed? What size would you say a pup who weighs 5.6 lbs at 4 1/2 months will weigh? If they stop growing when they are 6 months old Mabel should not be a whole lot bigger right?

No, all pups are not full grown at 6 months. Genetic lines are like family lines. If they are bred long enough the breeder gets a pretty good idea of how fast/slow they will grow. Some lines grow slow at the beginning and have growth spurts later and others grow fast at the beginning and then slow or stop. My line has been bred for 10 years and they grow fast and stop around 6 months. When I first started with this combination, I sold puppies I thought would be really big and they didn't get big at all! It took a couple of years before I became confident in how my breeding would grow out. The breeder needs to keep records of growth for comparison. Anytime you add different genetics to the mix, things may turn out differently. My boy Jesse just turned 11 and I will need to add new genetics soon but for now I can still be confident in this line.
Your girls growth depends on the line and if the breeder has been breeding this line for a long enough time and keeping records of it to be able to give you an idea of how big she will be. If it was my line, a pup the size of your girl would probably be about 6 1/2 lbs. full grown. Wish it were that cut and dry but genetics with any family line is sometimes a crap shoot.

I think she was talking about the dogs she breeds specifically, not all Yorkies
