| Didn't really see why. Please shed some light. We didn't feel it was necessary to register our dogs or the puppies because we didn't know why we should. We believed that it was necessary only if we wanted to enter our dogs in shows . Quote:

| Not registered I have three small housedogs counting my yorkie and my husband breds Beagles. Currently, we have about twenty dogs. All are registered. An AKC registered (or any other registration) pup generally sell for about the prices you are selling your non registered puppies for. Another lady was onhere recently selling her tiny non registered Yorkies for three hundred. I inquired about them and she said she would have more later that would be registered but they would be much higher. personally, I wouldn't pay much for a dog with no papers. Actually, I probably wouldn't even buy it. But that's just me. Good luck on your puppies. Hope you find nice homes for them. Please try to post some pictures soon. |

| youre puppies are adorable, and you are selling them for a really good price as well (i live in california, so everything is overpriced here..... pups with no papers go for more than 1000 here ) i dotn think papers are necessary for pets, for breeding or showing obviously yes, but not for pets.... im sure they will sell really quickly, i only wish i could get one but the one i have is enough for right now |

| Under priced or Over priced??? Any who lives here in New York knows that $600 for Yorkie puppies is not a rip off, even without papers. Everyone that bought a puppy from me (sold all six in three days @ $600) was invited to come and see the both the parents and puppies first before buying. They puppies spoke for themselves with out having any papers. Yorkies go for $1000 to $1500 easy here in pet shops. But before I both my two I wouldn't have paid $300 for those dogs from any of the pet shops we looked at. They not only didn't look like Yorkies (but they had papers), they looked sick and just ragged. So for me, papers didn't mean anything. My puppies were in perfect health and so was their parents. After seeing both, all six parties that bought my puppies had no questions about not having papers. I even spoke to one women the next day and she said she would have paid ~$1000 for the puppy she just got from me and also would have wanted to buy the dad if we were selling him. |

Of course the petshop puppies looked sick...do a search and you'll find lots of information posted about them here. If you're going to provide service (puppy) for a potential buyer, be ready to have them ask for papers. If you are not able to sell your puppies to a YT member then by all means advertise in your local paper. Your puppies will sell themselves to people that are able to see them.
