| Hard Trip, New Friend Needed Hello all, I am brand new to the boards, and I came looking for help with in-cabin plane travel, which I got plenty of. You guys have such great info/opinions! Main info of post: Looking for female yorkie puppy in the southeast, hopefully in the under 6lb range, price range, up to a stretched 800. Story: Anyhow, I saw this section and thought I'd give it a go. My husband and I have a 21 month old little boy named Bender (pic to come soon, comp is just being a pain ). Bender has lived in Austria with us his entire life, and now we are moving back to Florida...and while he loves travelling, this is his first long journey and it is to a whole new world no less! We leave on Wednesday and Bender is very unsettled at the moment because some strange people keep coming in and taking all his furniture away in boxes! He cuddles extra close at night lately; he knows something is up. We're really worried about him losing contact with his best friend Katy (a 5 month old female yorkie), and Bender is a very shy, sweet dog...we don't want him to be depressed, so we've decided to find him a girlfriend in the US! Bender is about 4lbs, 4.5 with long hair, but we've got him in a puppy cut lately, because he's more energetic with short hair I'm hoping to find a little girl in our price range that is fairly small, due to the fact that I am in a wheelchair and it's very hard for me to pick up heavier dogs. My mother has two yorkies (9 and 11 lbs) and while I love them to death, I can't put them on my lap. If anyone has any information on female puppies available in Florida or any of the neighboring states I would appreciate it. Anywhere from now to a few months from now is ok. It's never too late to give Bender a new playmate |

| Seems like we have lots of members down there. I am sure someone has a female close to you. I'll pay attention and see if I can't help you find one. BTW, welcome to YT!

| Thanks! It seems to be a very active community. And thank you for the offer to keep an eye out. I appreciate it! Maybe I'll get to meet some Floridian YTers one day. -LeAnn |

| I have pups that are 3 weeks old but I'm in SC. I'm sure there are some closer to FL. Good Luck on your search. |
