| Looking for a standard size male Yorkie near Charlotte, NC Saw an ad in charlotte.com for ekkennels.com. Has anybody heard of them or dealt with them? I should make sure he is AKC registered, correct? Thanks for all your help, Bonnie |

| Oh, dear! Look at all the different breeds and mixes they are advertising! This is either a broker or a large scale breeding facility. E&K Kennels |

| Please Please don't buy a dog from these people, this is the first time I have ever seen their site but I have to say I wasn't very impressed. They breed 11 different registered breed which is a major red flag in and of itself, to me this screams puppy mill. Then they also breed so called designer dogs and have eight different varities of them, thats 19 different breeds and with that many dogs there is no way that they can all be getting the attention they need to be well socialized. Also while they did have one or two Yorkie puppies that were nice to look at, most are ckc registered and really don't look like they have any quality to them at all. Please look around and do some checking, there are many reputable breeders out there that take very good care of their puppies. The prices she has on most of her puppies ($1400 to $2000) you can adopt an AKC registered baby that has had the time spent with it to make it a well adjusted Yorkie. If I can help you find the puppy your looking for let me know, I'd be happy to help in any way I can. If you want my phone number you can get it from my website or you can send me your email address and I'll send it to you. I would hate for you to spend that kind of money on such a poor quality puppie only to possibly end up with all kinds of health issuses down the road.

| Celia Miller of Northbrook Yorkies I think may be in Charlotte. Check her website. I have been in touch with her and think she has a good reputation. |
