My husband and I are looking to start a family with a dog. She must be at least 4 months old. She will have her own bedroom and playroom. We do not have any other pets or a child so getting her will complete our family. If you have a female Yorkie that needs a new home, please consider us. We would be the best parents! Once we adopt her, I will send you photos of her so you can see her progress. We are looking to spend $400.

Welcome to YT!! Have you thought about Yorkie rescue, you could find a little older girl to love and it would be more in your price range!! The reason she is suggesting these groups to find your baby is because 400. for a yorkie is way low. It will cost us a lot more than that to have a litter. I was just at the vets on Friday for their second booster and it cost 60.00. And that is just for one. They need three not including their rabies. Then you have to add in tail docking and dewclaws removed and day after birthing check up. Then add in paperwork for papers. All that is if all things go well and you do not have a c-section or had to pay for a stud service. Then most of us now do a bile acid test and full blood panels and health check up before they leave to also recheck legs, heart, lungs, eyes, etc... Yorkies are just one breed that coast breeders a lot to raise. The c-section my girl had was around 570.00 and then it cost me another 200.00 for after care since she ran a fever after the c-section and had to hand feed her around the clock for 7 days. Then there is testing we have to have done on the parents before breeding too. The I have my pups now spayed/neutered before leaving too. That all adds up. Also yorkies are not like the larger breeds where they can have 6-7 or more pups without problems. Usual for yorkies is about 2 pups. That is what I had - 2 pups - on the litter I have now.

Have you thought about adopting an older dog. I just wanted to give you some information why 400.00 for a puppy is way low. Now don't forget you will need to also make sure you have more money to take care of your pup after you get it home. Regular vet yearly check ups. Yorkies usually need their teeth cleaned every year. etc..

Please do not post looking for Yorkies below $500. If your budget for a Yorkie does not allow for $500 or more, you may want to look into Yorkie rescues or adoptions of older Yorkies, as they may be better suited to your price range.

We have just ran across so many scams and we just don't know who to trust. Even the people who wanted 750.00 and up. I have no problem taken care of the pup what so ever, I just don't want to run into any more scams. I don't have a problem with an older dog; she just would have to be at least 3 months old. We would be happy to have a dog 2 or 3 years old.

karmen - I hope you find a puppy/dog for your home, it sounds like you have a lot of love to give

. And it sounds like you're fully aware of scammers - but be especially aware of those scammers looking to "give" their dogs away, we have seen the worst of those as well.

. Maybe that was a scam also. Where did you get your pup from and where is the best place to get them from?

Im so sorry,i really thought this lady was legit,she never contacted me back either,i was trying to help you thats why i contacted her,im still going to help you find your little girl.I found my last yorkie on yorkietalk he was 9 months old i paid $500.00 for him and he is a liitle rascal,i want you to have the joy that i have with my three babies.

I just spoke to a guy in jasper he has some babies a monrh old he lives in jasper and said that you can come put a deposit and pick out your baby ,but the cost for a girl puppy is $600.00,i have his phone number and his name.
