I can not say if that's a result of being from a mill or not, but at this point, I would think that you would want the VERY BEST for him and her.
If he is attacking her and drawing blood it will only get worse, I have done a lot of rescue work, and seen this a lot of times in other breeds and yorkies, yorkies do and will kill each other if they are that aggressive they need to be a only dog most of the time if it is very bad aggression.
Good luck to the op, I am sure you will do what is best for all involved.

That is exactly what I am afraid of. I do not want either of them getting hurt. It is a hard decision to make, but I have to do what is best for them. I have had a few people suggest that I put have him down if he is THAT aggressive, because he attacked me yesterday just because I was taking his picture He also attacks me whenever I try to stop him from fighting. It's very scary even though he is small. I am NOT gonna have him put down though. There is not as much aggression towards people, it's more towards other dogs . I would much rather have him go to a home where he can be the only dog and be the alpha male like he wants. I think he would be much happier.

Yikes. This is a bad situation. I think you are right to re-home him where there are no children or other dogs.

In the meantime, I'd try a muzzle. Pet food Express has tiny ones, and Petco probably does too. No sense taking any chances while you work this out.

Good luck. I know this must be difficult.

If you are not going to see if his original owners want him back, than I suggest surrendering him to one of the Yorkie Rescues. If he is that bad he should be handled by professional and experienced Yorkie people. That is probably the BEST thing that you could do for him.

I also agree that PTS - is NOT the answer. He needs the proper care and the proper experienced people. Yorkie Rescue

Default Sorry you are experiencing this behavior

Did you know the breeder? Did they have children? Maybe he has been teased in his past. Did you receive a copy of his pedigree? Inbreeding can also be a culpert. Wish you the best of luck. Contact the person you purchased your Yorkie from.

Also...meant to say:

I think I read everything but did not see ...have you tried getting him neutered and seeing if that helps his aggression issues. I know I have NO experience with this so I may be grasping at straws here but is that worth a try?

Gosh my heart is breaking for all of you...so sad!

I still have him and I am now interviewing for prospective homes. I am going to be very picky and I am gonna require that they have him neutered. I am looking for an older couple or someone that can't have children so he can be treated like a baby. He also has to go to a home with no other dogs, since he is so aggressive towards other dogs. I feel so bad that he came from a puppy mill and ended up this way as a result. I HATE puppy mills and I just wish they would disappear He is my responsibility and I think this is what is best for him. I just can't see putting him in a rescue and never seeing him again I want him to go to a home where I will be able to visit him and check up on him. Just keep praying that the perfect person will come along. Thanks for all of your support.

So glad you and taking on this challenge yourself. You know this little guy and so you will be able to find the best home for him. Best wishes!
