yorkie needed in NC - PLEASE READ! I am new to yorkietalk but so far I am loving what I see! I am currently a student and majoring in accounting and my fiance is a firefighter with his own landscaping business. Around two years ago I found out about some serious cervical problems and have been having surgery on my cervix about every 3 months. Just recently we found out that it is next to impossible for me to reproduce. I realize there are miracles out there and with a lot of prayer there may still be hope, but on the contrary it may be in Gods will for me not to. That is why I decided to go ahead and start searching for my yorkie! I have always wanted one and never really got into searching. I have been on the net night and day searching through adoptions, I would drive to california but just filling out the paper work is tedious! If I had applied at every place I looked I would have been on here ALL DAY. So, I decided to post where most people read to spread the word. I would like a younger yorkie, one I can grow with and on. One my fiance and I can call "our baby" and dress him/her up. I've already found the CUTEST Harley Davidson colar (if it's a boy of course)!! Anyway, if there is anyone that knows of a yorkie that needs an AMAZING LOVING CARING family, please contact me!

Welcome to YT. Be very careful searching on the internet for a Yorkie. You will read many sad stories on YT where pups were very sick, died, or owner just never received the pup after paying. Do your research right here. There are lot's of members who can help you and there are several breeder's here with beautiful, healthy pups for sale. Good luck to you and I hope your health is settled now.

I'm in North Carolina, too, and there are some great breeders recommended by the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America. That is the best place to start your search for a reputable breeder: http://www.ytca.org/breeder4.html#NC Another great way to find a reputable breeder is to attend local shows. It would be a fun way to get to know the breed better, too! http://infodog.com/showinfo/state.htm
