| Oh that is so sad to think you have a new home and then given back. I hate it for her. Yeah my hubby is glad I'm not close too. I would probably bring them all home with me. I had to see one with no place to go. She is so cute.

| Oh my goodness! She reminds me so much of my Dixie when she was a pup. I hope she finds an excellent home!!!! I'd take her in a heartbeat, but have to wait 'til april, and I know she needs a forever home soon! Does she have CH. lines? I have a friend who may be interested. PM, or post, I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | She does have ch lines. Shes home now. Her short time mommy and daddy were so sad bringing her back. They were both teary, and poor daddy was all stuffed up and having a hard time breathing. I felt sooooo sorry for them. And the puppy responded to them, you could tell just in the short time had bonded. Dang what a tear jerker. She got car sick on the way back, so now shes eaten and has her little blanket and is sound asleep. Poor baby, shes such a love bug. |

| I posted a lot more on another thread, but I wanted to post part of it here too to share what a wonderful little girl "Carmella" is. I brought her home yesterday, and she was simply amazing. She's sweetness inside and out. When I brought her in, she had a tough time in the car, but she made herself at home in no time at all when she was inside. Linda sent me home with her blankets and toys, so once those came out she was familiar enough to begin walking around and investigate everything. She found where I put a potty pad and did her business right on it. She had one in her play pen, but still managed to find the one I had in the room when I let her out and she found it and was on it twice. I had read so much about problems, I was beside myself with joy when she demonstrated her skills to me at such an early age. At bedtime, we moved her to her play pen area. I was sure she would cry. She did, softly because she is young, but for 3 minutes and then it was peace through the night. (She woke up, used her pad in the pen - I found evidence in the morning - and then played with her toys - I left our bedroom door open so I could hear her). It's clear now, that it would have been best if my husband had owned a dog at least once in his life, then we could see how his sinuses could react. He did not do well, and without going in to as much detail as I did in another thread, his sinuses were not going to get better with medication considering other health issues. Very few people have any reaction to these non shedding doggies. I guess he's one of the few, and he's heart sick that I won't be able to have a Yorkie as we had planned for so many years. We both cried all morning and afternoon when we prepared to take her back to her own home. I just knew I could not keep her, and that while she is adorable, small, and loving, she needs to bond with someone as soon as possible. I will have to be happy to have been her 24 hour playmate. She loves to snuggle when I watch TV or type on the computer. I hope whoever gets my little angel, posts a picture now and again, because I will never forget her. All this love, in just one (plus) day! I know she is happy at Linda's, because she is a fantastic mother, but I think she could be happy anywhere there is love. |

| I'm in tears after that..I'm so, so sorry you had to give her up! Goodness...if I wasn't so far away I'd love to take her... But like I said, I have a friend interested in a Yorkie pup, and I'll let him know about this sweetie. And he lives right down the road, so I could see her! I'll PM you, linda if he's interested. If not, I hope you find her the PERFECT home. What an angel!

| Linda sent me home with bags of toys, blankies, potty pads, some food for the first couple of days. When I returned her, I brought her things and included a box full of things I had bought for her. I didn't want to return anything to Petco or Superpets, because they were for her. When we arrived, I couldn't think of anything but my baby girl, so I left my husband to bring everything in. I only carried Carmella...wrapped in a soft blankie (she seemed to do better in the car that way) and I passed her to her mommy. When we got ready to leave, everything appeared to be on the table when we left. When we arrived back home, I found a little bag in the back seat. Inside were the items she loved most that I had in her bed. Her favorite toys and her little blankie that lined her bed. It made me cry all over again as I packed those things to ship back today. I get it now. These Yorkies are like family, like little babies, they need our love and attention. I wonder how long it will take for me to get back to my old routine. I can't stop thinking of her as I walk through the rooms she enjoyed. I do think of her when I brought her back to her birth home, running with her doggie family at Linda's, and it makes me smile. |
