Default Where can I find yorkie for under $1000?????

I bought Jacks for under $1000 and am wanting another one.

I'm here in Texas. Are there any breeders out there who sell under 1000?

Do you still have Jacks? Who I assume if boy by his name? If so, mine may not be the best option as two boys sometimes fight. If you are interested in a boy however, please see my yorkie boys for sale at www.yorkies-chihuahuas.com on the nursery/for sale page. If you have interest please use my contact form on that page to contact me. I know you will LOVE their quality!

many good breeders here in MN and Iowa and they charge under 1000.00.
You woudl have to pay to shipping though.
Yorkies are not that expensive around here.over 1000.00 is alot.
Good champion lines are under 1000.00 here .
Over 2000.00 is outrageous for this area no matter what the lines are.

I'm also looking in tx as well. I have found a few ads for $500-$800 in the austin area, but did not contact anyone as we're not ready right this second. I don't understand anyone asking for a grand for any breed of dog, but I have seen plenty of ads for tx for $2k-$4k and it just makes me absolutely sick to my stomach because that tells me that these people don't care about the puppies, they're just trying make a quick buck. Let me know if you find a reputable breeder that won't require me to take out a loan, LOL!!

My breeder I got CoCo from has some puppies right now and she sells them very reasonable, but she doesn't ship, she is in Palestine. I haven't had any problems with CoCo health wise and I have NEVER had a better temperment in any dog I've ever had. The litter is from CoCo's parent's too. PM me if you want her #. She doesn't have a website either.

Not to sound like a jerk but I am a bit offended by this statement. We sell our puppies from $1500 to 2k. They are champion sired, include all shots, an Avid chip, 1 yr health guarentee, 6 months of heartguard and flea and tick prevention, etc.

We love our puppies as part of the family and take extreme time and care in raising only the best Yorkies you'll find (just see our testimonials page from people that have purchased our puppes).

So to say we are in it for a quick buck? I don't see how spending hours a day for 12 to 15 weeks per puppy is a "quick" buck. It is NOT a simple task to be a good breeder. There are many other breeders in our area that sell for 2-4k a puppy, we just don't.

In fact, a family we sold a puppy to two years ago wanted another. We only had one puppy remaining from the litter and we were going to keep her for future breeding. They offered us 10k (not a joke) for her and we turned it down. So if we WERE in it for a "quick" buck as you say, she would have been sold. Instead, we would raise her for two years before she would be ready for breeding.

I am quite sure you can a reputable breeder in your price range but your blanket statement is false.

I didn't take it that they were talking about the range you price your pups at....they referred to $2000-4000, not $2000 and under.

It is true, though, that most people don't realize what it takes for a breeder (reputable) to raise a puppy. By the time you count up all the hours invested, it is really a very low per hour fee. (Not that you are doing it for the money, but from a realistic standpoint obviously no one can afford to consistently LOSE money on anything)

To the OP, I'm sure that with patience you will be able to find one in your price range.
