| Female Yorkie Wanted in Texas Hello, I'm excited to find this site. We are looking for a small (2-5lb) female yorkie or yorkie mix. We are open to any age. puppy-young adult. This is not to breed as we know nothing about all the acronyms or papers. We lost our family dog last year after 18 beautiful years with him. Our family has just had a hard time with losing our loving family member, My 8 year old daughter is completely lonely without what she called her brother. We have checked all the local rescue but have not found any yorkie. She has her heart set on a yorkie or a very small dog to carry around in a pet purse. Her birthday is July 18th and I would love nothing more than to surprise her with a new addition to the family. If anyone can give me some help or know of a yorkie that needs a good home, please let me know. Thanks |

| Hi first of all i am sorry to hear about your loss...i know you have looked for a yorkie but perhaps you might consider any other small mixed breed. as you may know a dog that small is so delicate extra precautions need to be taken to ensure their safety.

| Female Yorkie Wanted in Texas Thanks for the advise. Yes, I know how delicate the smaller ones are. Our beloved Buster was a very small Pomeranian that loved being treated like a real baby. We are not opposed to any other small breed of dog if someone knows of one. Thanks again for your response. |

| There are lots of wonderful members here from Texas who would love to help you find the right yorkie for your family. You can try breeders.net, puppyfind.com or the local YTCA for starters. Most of the YTCA members also have websites. Welcome to Yorkie Talk and good luck! |
