| Looking for a female yorkie Hi there, I am looking to get a female Yorkie in March. By then, I will have moved into my first home (a condo), that allows pets. I have been doing a lot of research and felt that I found the perfect breeder, but have since been advised that she may not be as perfect as I had thought. I am looking for a pet, not one to breed, so of course I have no problem spaying. Also, because we are not looking to breed, papers are not necessary. All we want is a happy, healthy dog that we will spoil for the rest of her life. She will get the best food, we will be getting a trainer (both for her and us...this is to be our very first dog ever and because I want us all to *eventually* live in harmony, this is a must!) and she will be loved as though she is our baby. She will always have access to a vet; her health will be as important as our own. Should she end up with a permanent health issuey, she will get any and all medications/treatments that she needs to ensure quality of life and comfort. We are not rich, but as her parents, we will sacrifice whatever we need to. We have been having a somewhat difficult time in finding our future baby because of our daughter. She will be 3 1/2 by the time we adopt. While I completely understand why most breeders are put off by this age, the only thing I can say to satisfy this is that we have taught her from a very young age how to be around animals. She is kind and gentle. She respects fragile beings. Just this weekend we were staying at my sisters house where there are 2, 12 week old kittens. I was pleased, but not suprised, to watch her play with them. She was so sweet with them. I know it may be hard to get this across in a thread, but she was like a little mommy with them. With our puppy, playtime will ALWAYS be supervised. Always. I dont want my puppy to get hurt anymore than I want our daughter to get hurt. I would never put either of them in a position where a preventable accident would occur. We will be crate training, but during the day she will never be left in the crate for more than 4 hours. I will be going back to work in 2 weeks, working a 9-5 shift. My husbands schedule is much more flexible. He works 6 hours a day, staggard shifts. Most of the time, one of us will be home. Our new home is a block away from a park, and there is a grassy area (on the building site) with a few trees that is perfect for exploring. We do not necessarily need to have a puppy. Age isnt really a concern. Like most people however, we would prefer a puppy. But I would like a girl. I just cant imagine dressing up a boy in pretty girl clothes ;-) If you have any questions to ask of me, please do. Like I said, I have done a lot of research. If there is something that I dont understand, I keep on researching. So, in closing (lol) if you have a litter or are about to have one, I hope you will consider us for one of your little girls. Please pm me with any information you have about your pups and yourself that is relevant. We are open to any and all questions, as we really want to be able to show you what good parents we are and will continue to be. |

| Hi Tricia, I emailed you, but just noticed that you live in Illinois. I am not sure where that is, but I live in Canada...western Canada. Are you able to ship your pups? |
