| You say the breeder is Parquins...I am a bit shocked Raymond Antonucci would permit his breeding to be sold on a PET site. He told me if I used his studs people would be breaking my door down to buy the puppies. |

| Got your response Quote:
We paid the price for full registration, and breeding rights of our puppies parents from Raymond thus allowing us the prerogative as such. Raymond has his established sphere. We have not developed ours as his. Thus, we are allowing full exposure and people to enjoy the Parquins puppies if they so choose. Is there an offense about Pet sites? Are you saying that this site does not meet the quality standard for Parquins puppies? And if so, why not? And if not, maybe you can notify the administrators of this site of who you feel should be on this site and your justification for why so they may set such prequalification standards. But I really don't think they will because that could be construed as discrimination. We actually have gotten alot of success stories from people who have sold their puppies from this site. We've talked to several people before considering putting our puppies on here. Thank you for your response.

We've neglected to answer all of your response. It is true, people do knock down doors for Raymond's studs. They definitely knock down our door for our stud!

| breeding Welcome to YT... What I was trying to convey is this...I am in Florida. Parquins is here also. I have talked with him a few times. Mr. Antonucci lead me to believe he never advertizes and has a long waiting list. I saw the breeder in your ad listed as "Parquins" you are not him...and now it is cleared up. You have purchased your stock from Mr. Antonucci..you are actually the breeder. I did not mean rushing to use YOUR studs in my post...he said anyone using his studs and got a litter of Parquin pups would never need to advertize, people would be waiting in line. I told him that was not my first interest when picking a stud. I see by your ad his statment is not true. He told me he did not sell his pups with full breeding rights. In fact he critized me for helping a few pet breeders with stud service etc. or selling to them. I am probably going to get suspended for this but it is time to stand up.. Suddenly Yorkie Talk has become THE place to sell puppies. Breeder come here and are not up front about who they are, they are using "User Namers" so as to not be known as a "pet site puppy seller." Once these pups are sold we never see them again... I am sick of it.. Yorkie Talk is becoming another Yorkies Direct..except the owner of the site is not hawking his pups..he is allowing anyone and everyone to hawk theirs. I do not advertize my pups here, but I feel it should be for contributing, regular posting members only...and you should have to give your full name in the ad. YT is one of the few who allow puppy selling and now I see why. I have stated my opinion, no name calling, just the truth as I see it. |

| Welcome.... I don't think there is anything wrong with your trying to sell your pups on this site IF you infact legitimately are who you say you are and your puppies what you claim them to be then welcome!! Thing is most here have seen the shadey unscrupulous sellers who come through here with an empty member name, no posts and no real name or info, only phone numbers and empty promises occasionally breaking the hearts of some of the members when they find out they have been scammed. I agree with YorkieRose, StewiesMom and Red98vett being hesitant and questioning a seller who isn't a regular member until a good amount of solid credentials is reached. It protects alot of us newbies here that wouldn't think to ask such questions and are taken by scams easier. Our older members have been there done that and I feel are looking out for our best interest. I say if you are a true honest breeder of what you claim then welcome to YT!!! Otherwise be prepared to be dissected of erroneous posting/listing/contact/photo/reputation/address claims. Unfortunately fake photos, names, phone numbers ect. when it comes to the selling of puppies via internet is almost the norm. I for one would be excited to welcome a good standing, upscale breeder/seller that would be able to come on occasionally and offer great pups to great homes, It's a matter of gaining credentials like you said "Raymond has his established sphere. We have not developed ours as his. Thus, we are allowing full exposure and people to enjoy the Parquins puppies if they so choose." As soon as people here know you're not scamming us and your puppies are the real deal, basically as soon as you're established you will be very welcome and most likely very popular LOL!!! You will see that members here are really sweet wonderful people who love their babies and would make you feel happy knowing your pups went to a great home.

| Well Pat, if you get suspended, just holler. There will be hundreds to bail you out. If there is anybody that we admire in their opinion, it's you.

| I am sure this does not come as a surprise to anyone but I am in total agreement with Pat and the others. I noticed that the post # on the ad was number 1!!!!! That means the advertiser came on this forum only to make sales to people who LOVE this breed and want others to experience the joy in owning them. An ad, even SLIGHTLY less than exact, is never excusable, IMO. I have checked several mags that I get and the last Ch. that Parquins features is in Dog Fancy and the year was 2002. That dog's name is Parquin's Royal Diamond. They list their phone area code as 239 which is not the same as in the ad.( As has already been pointed out, this ad is placed from CA.) This is not to say that Parquin's is not still showing, I have no idea about that and I am sure they have other Ch. in their kennels. I just find it difficult to believe that such a well-known kennel would lend its name to pet quality puppies being bred and advertised in such a manner that appears to be their animals from their kennels. Again, JMO. And, lastly, unless I have missed something as big as the name of the person placing the ad, they have not complied with the post by the adm to include their name in the ad as per policy. Nope, I just this minute checked and NO NAME other than the breeder which is falsely represented as Parquin's. Only if you read the subsequent posts will you see that the breeder is NOT Parquins but no inclusion of the actual breeder's name do I see. My dogs are from CH lines but do you think for one minute I would try to get over on a potential buyer by using their names as the "breeders". You bet your sweet hiney, I would NOT! that would be totally dishonest and and false advertising. I agree that you can use the kennel name if the owner has named the dog or bitch and included their name. HOWEVER, you cannot use their name as the breeder. This could be the highest show ad site in the country--that is not my point. I have issues with advertising ANYWHERE in the manner thatyou have done on this forum. So, c'mon. Follow policies and include your name in your ad or take it down. We will back the adm anytime he upholds the policy and enforces it on purely objective terms. |
