Teeny Tiny Not for sale ok... sorry guys... when my ethics... honesty... and integrity are called into question... I can't deal w/ people w/o wondering if they think I am lying anymore. I will stick to selling all my dogs in the Post and on the bullitin board at the Safeway (which is how I sell most...lol). If... if I have already promised you a chance at Casper or Gigi and you do realize that I was upfront and honest... you can email me at meglaulanmar@yahoo.com... or call me at 703-855-1292... IF you have already contacted me and know that I have already informed you of Gigi small sizes and need for twice a day feedings...or blood sugar issues arising. Although... even I would have questions about someone after what was said about me... so I understand if you don't trust me. If you live around me... I would be glad to show you the dogs even if you aren't interested... just so you can inform this forum of their healthy and well being (as much as you can tell by looking that is). I was excited that several people in this area just wanted to meet because we share the same passion... and I would still love to do that. Please don't pm me.... as I can't see I will be on here much anymore unless I do have an desperate issue or a problem (As for information... this is the best site on the web... by far!!) I totally enjoyed all the people I met... unfortunately... I even enjoyed the ones that thought I was being dishonest...lol

My concern is that it appears you are buying dogs from a USDA (commercial)breeder and then reselling them without any knowledge of their background. The length of warrantee is very short as well. I worry for people buying pups like this as they have little to no recourse if there are problems. Sorry but thats MHO.......

I have spoken to her, and I think she's very honest..the kind of person I would love dealing with....Doesn't come across as being one of the "know it alls"!

Honesty wasn't an issue I brought up. She has been honest about not being the breeder of the pups she sells. Buying pups like this is the same as buying from a pet store. Except some of them have longer warrantees.

You are entitled to your opinion I went into great detail about what I do. I wasn't aware of any long warranties... never had them on any dog I have ever bought and I have had dogs all my life... akc boston terrier... akc min. schnauzer... akc lab (just died at 12) and akc yorkie. NEVER even had a warranty on any one... not one. So... I am not experienced... I say that. I also totally educate people on the breed... on how to groom ...how to care... emergency med. etc. and loan out all my yorkie books....so I thought I was doing good w/ a month. I tell them... if the vet says puppy is unhealthy I will take it back. I also make sure they don't send it to a shelter... it comes back to me. I have sold very few dogs.... and this is my dad and mom's best friend...not some random breeder... I have contact w/ her all the time.... regardless of whether it is about the dogs or not. If you read the post... she has been our friend for over 20yrs. She is just doing this to help me out during the cancer. She would never sell me a less than healthy dog. PERIOD. Until she knew this one was going to make it .... and be healthy she didn't even let me hold it! So... I understand your concern.... the thing is.. ... you can take me at my word... or worry that I'm lying... either way... if you aren't buying a puppy from me... I am not going to lose any more sleep over what people think of me on here. I was up all night last night... that takes away from my ability to care for my kids and dogs... I can't lose sleep over strangers thinking badly of me.... if they do they do. I know in my heart I am doing a good thing... nothing wrong... something that helps dogs... and my family!

pet store Yes... and buying from a pet store is worse because they come from puppy mills.... not all... but a lot.... You are calling my honesty into question if you think that I am dealing w/ a friend who was a puppy mill. I would turn over my own mother if she had a puppy mill. But again... I don't care... I wrote this thread last night in the heat of battle... moderator just posted it!

Sorry that you had a bad experience with some of the responses you got. Unfortunately, that is the downside of posting on a public forum full of people so passionate about this breed--when you post about something, essentially you have made it 'everyone's business' in a sense that you've opened it up for converstation and occasionally scrutiny. You will get a wide range of answers, some you will like, some you will not. You have to take the good with the bad--you can not pick and choose who responds and what kind of comments you get and you have no control over who can and cannot respond. Just one of the aspects you have to learn to deal with and accept. Hopefully you will find the perfect home for this little one where it can be loved and cared for by someone experienced enough to provide the special kind of care required for a smaller Yorkie. Good Luck!

| Wow. If I were closer to you, I'd have no problem buying from you. That's how we got Max....a good friend of a good friend of ours were the breeders (and THEY werent' a puppy mill....they only bred their female one time and this was the only litter they ever had), and she was buying one of the puppies and wanted me to come check them out too. We got NO guarantee of any sort (never even thought to ask for one) and we couldn't be happier with our decision to add Max to our family! Good luck; I'm glad that you're being upfront with people about the special needs of a tiny one; a lot of people want them b/c they're so adorable (me included), but I also am aware that they can be very fragile and require more care. Good luck finding them their perfect homes

I never said anything about anyone being a mill or anything personal. Personally I would never want a pup from a breeder who didn't feel like dealing with the pups buyers. Who does the buyer call if they have a question about the lines or problems? (rhetorical question BTW) It is a fact that selling pups you buy from a commercial breeder is "brokering" pups. If the breeder is USDA licensed then its the same procedure as a pet store, mill or not. You may need a license yourself. You are free to do anything you wish. I just didn't think YT allowed brokering of pups on its site. I wish you and your family well. I also hope you find good homes for the puppies.

| Sorry that you've had some issues here on YT... Everyone is usually very friendly and helpful. Though, everyone has opinions and not all of them positive... None the less, I hope that you will continue to visit this site and have a good day

Whatever there are good usda licensed facilities... everyone of you got your pup from a usda licensed breeder or a pet store or a backyard breeder (w/ the exception of those who get from rescue organizations). You have to be licensed by the Usda or they will shut you down when they find you and you are sooo screwed... you lose all your pups. There are bad of all the above. We avoid the brokering solution because I am considered her employee. The dog payments go to her... she pays me. I don't sell on here. I just wanted to sell this one to someone very experienced because I felt uneasy about any less... then after I read all the knowledgable people on here... I though if she is still for sale... which I stated she may not be... I would try to find a tiny yorkie owner to take her. You won't find any previous dogs I have sold on here! And I had much rather sell to people I know or they know that to people on here and be attacked everyday!
