| Looks a lot like my dog Tbone. He is pretty long and lean. But he is still young (just over 2 years) and will probably fill out with age. And yours is quite young and has a lot of growing to do. Looks like a BEAUTIFUL dog, IMHO!

| At three months it's kind of hard to tell, but right now he looks pretty good.

| From the pics she looks to be nice and square with a nice tailset. Her topline looks to be level, can't tell about her ears. Did you have her evaluated at 8 weeks? She's not looking too bad now.

| Very nice, ears look great. What line is this gal out of? Start practising with her on lead, stacking on the table, and showing teeth. Expose her to as many people and situations that you can after she's had all her shots. Who knows she may end up a show dog and it doesn't hurt to be ready. Have fun with her, she's a beaut!

| weight I am looking at her from a USA judges thinking. At her weight of nearly 4 pounds at 12 weeks..it is likely she will be 8 to 9 grown..and if that is evenly distributed on a compact frame, you might get away with it...she would not look too large for the ring...but if she continues to grow on leg as they can do..then the judge sees an oversized bitch and most will not win. I do not know the type Yorkie that is shown where you are...I would go to the shows and see if her size will be a factor in making it hard to finish her... I love her green eye flash..she will no doubt have a good, dark steel coat..her muzzle is a bit long, but a well placed and constructed top knot will change that quite easily..and refine the look... I would work with her and she what her size levels off to be..Best wishes What is the correct tail carriage for a Yorkie with a full tail...I do not think is allowed to curl over the back like a Maltese..check that out also. | puppy Agreed! I would continue to train all potentials until they have proven they are not...it is a waiting thing. To the orginial poster... When you have the puppy in your poccession, it makes things very different, then if you are looking at litter for 3 or 4 potentials and asking for adivse as to who to pick. Size is quite tricky...and the best thing to do is wait it out... There is a trend in the US to return to a smaller, more compact Yorkie of years ago...in other countries it may be a trend to go even larger...best wishes |
