| Tinsel and My SweetPea This morning, both Tinsel and My SweetPea were entered in the Puppy Bitches 6 – 9 mos class at the Lake County All Bred Dog Show. My SweetPea came second place to Tinsel, and who also got the BEST OF BREED Puppy, over another beautiful 13 month old bitch! Tinsel was also RESERVE Bitch. CONGRATULATIONS TINSEL and TRISH! After the show, Trish and I went shopping, buying stuff for the puppies, with me mostly buying whatever Trish buys, LOL! It’s just so great when you have a someone like Trish. And what a wonderful day it was! I thoroughly enjoyed the show for the many lessons learned and experience gained. Can’t wait for the next one! Pictures: 1. Trish, me and Lynn (the handler recommended by Kimberly. She’s great, thanks Kimberly. Lynn trains My SweetPea, and Trish now uses her also for her puppies). 2. That’s me with My SweetPea and her red ribbon. 3. Trish with Tinsel and her blue ribbon, Best of Breed Puppy ribbon, and Reserve

I have learned so much these past three days. And I feel that I have improved from the very first show to this afternoon. And what a great advantage I had today to have My SweetPea's grooming table right beside, and very close to Tinsel's. And when Trish started to part Tinsel's hair, I did the same for My SweetPea. When she brushed Tinsel's paws, I followed after her. Then she brushed the back of the head of Tinsel so that all her hair fell so nice and neat, I did the same for My SweetPea... LOL! If someone was observing me, they'd definitely see that I was deliberately copying everything that Trish was doing, , because I was! When it came to the topknot, Trish noticed that I was struggling like crazy, and she offered to help me. But I recalled what our other fellow yorkie owner told me yesterday over dinner, not to ask too many questions or bother others while they are preparing for a show (which Trish was doing at the time), so I said, "THank you, but I would like to do this myself", and about 15 minutes to ring time, another yorkie owner friend said... "you've practiced enough for today, now let me do the topknot".. I am lucky to have people generous with their time in/and sharing their knowledge. I really enjoyed the weekend. Learned tons, and tons of things. Just the lingo alone is tremendous! I will go to AKC website tonight, as Trish suggested, to get educated on points. Sum Toi All That Glitters is BEAUTIFUL, very well mannered, and will finish as quick as Ting Ting for sure! Trish is excellent and a pro in the ring!
