| Does she have a bad bite???? I am new to yorkies and just attended my first dog show and would like to give it a try but have been really researching a proper bite and now I'm worried that Zoe does not have one and I won't be able to show her. She is 6 months old and it appears to me, looking at photos that she has a slite overbite (I think). Her upper teeth overlap her bottom teeth. Not by a lot but they do not meet or touch in the front. (hope I'm explaining this right) On the sides, they do appear to meet. Plus she is getting some new teeth and hasn't lost all her baby teeth yet. Do I need to be worried at this point? Is there anything at all that I can do to prevent a problem? The vet said not to worry about her teeth until 9-10 months and a lot of dogs do need to have their baby teeth removed but I'm not sure how experienced they are with yorkies and some of the people on here seem to know a lot more than my vet - at least about certain things. Can anyone give me any advice? |
