Gorgeous puppies.
I am serious and really interested in learning the sport, and hope to show My SweetPea someday, who is 5 months old. I've written the YTC of Northern California, and perhaps all those I've written are awfully busy... because they have been slow to respond . Do you have any advise for me? In the meantime, I have enrolled in puppy class to start with obedience training for My SweetPea.
Thanks.

My best advice is not to take you dog to obedience training..... And if you do do not teach it to sit when you stop walking... I like a dog for showing to be just under control not trained in obedience. conformation dogs need to stay standing to show themselves off. Think about it....

That would be hard! At least maybe you can see her at shows and follow her career. Someone in Florida must be very excited!

Dear Debbie,
Thanks. I shall follow your advise. And guess what... the President of YTC of Northern California responded! They want me to attend 4 meetings to be a member. And the great part is that the first meeting I will be attending in June 10 will be held after they finish showing their yorkies at the fairgrounds of Antioch, CA... I will get to go to a show for my very first time! I am so excited.
I will cancel My SweetPea's reservation for the puppy class. During the show and meeting, I will try to meet people, hopefully find a handler for SweetPea (I think you mentioned in the past, that that would be a good first step), who may perhaps be a mentor for me too, right?
Thanks.

Lita, newbie mom to My SweetPea

PS
I am so looking forward for My SweetPea to wear one of the bows you made to a show! First, I need to learn to put them on.

Hi Debbie!

Your little ones look great I love their cute faces and great body structure! We also have got a very promising puppy at our home itīs the first born daughter of my showgirl. She is four week old in the pictures, we will try to take good ones this weekend, cause we should get good weather.
Way to go for the puppies!!

It is always so exciting to hear from people so far away, it is a small world we all live in!! Your little baby is so cute, best of luck with her.
