| Show Poses! Decided to take my oldest girl out of oil to see how she looked. Her face is still a little wet, so not her best. She is 25 months old. I plan to show her myself this summer and then hope to get a handler for in the fall. Do you guys think her muzzle hair should be longer? How do you all care for it - to make it grow longer? We tried small wrapes, but she didn't like them. T. |

| I do not think her face hair looks bad at all! On my show yorkies I band their mustache and if they will let me wrap the beard I will, if not I leave it alone.. Best of luck with her and I am quite positive you will do well!

| Wow! He is soooo tiny. What a doll! My smallest were 2 1/4 pounds. I kept one and gave the other one to my mother in-law. This was years and years ago. Is he smaller that Connie's (Pregresso)? I forget his weight. T. |

| Tyler was out of a litter of 4.. I kept him back because of his tiny size and was afraid to ever place him in another home! So in that time I have become VERY attached to him and he will be with me always.. He was just recently neutered and my vet let me go back to be with him, I was so afraid something would happen to him! He did wonderful! He brings me alot of joy and puts many smiles on my face through the day!

| Your girl is beautiful. Her face furnishings are long enough. It all takes time to grow. Brody gets oiled, wrapped and wears a wrapping jacket! He does not like his face wrapped and pouts for about an hour after I finish him. I usually re-wrap him every 3-4 days, but check on them every day and especially change the ones by his mouth. They get yucky with food and eye discharge and really smell bad! Your girl has a beautiful coat and I love the shine she has. Brody still has alot of puppy hair - slow growing silk. Good luck showing her, she'll do great! |

| Hello. ok what does it mean to oil and wrap the puppies? Does anyone have pics of them this way so I can see? Is it to keep their coats shiny and not break? |

| I have a pic of Connor in wraps. I don't keep him in wraps all the time because it will occationally cause breakage. He rough houses alot ( he's only 12 months old) can't help it he's such a boy!

It keeps their coats from dragging on the ground and allows them to be dogs. Keeping them in wraps does require some time, wraps taken down daily as to not allow ring around under the band.. I usually don't oil, since my boys are in plastic wraps...much more sanitary. Girls I keep in silk wraps...but I apply a special leave in conditioner...

| Thanks for explaining! I have a 6 month old little girl, I am not planning on showing or breeding but I still like to learn as much as I can. Since I got her as a surprise from my bf I have totally fallen in love and would like to learn everything about these wonderful dogs. So again thanks |

There are different textures of coat and depending on the texture is what you use to wrap it with.
