| SHOW DOGS (Vaccinated for Bordatella) ??? Do you vaccinate your show dog for Bordatella (kennel cough)? And if you do, how often?

Yes! Every 6 months. No problem with any reactions. I would rather be safe than sorry and have my dogs protected. This is what my vet recommends. You can't be sure that all show dogs are up to date on their shots or not carring anything. All I can do is to make sure my dogs are vaccinated. T.

I have always used the drops in the nose. I agree protection is the key.

I'm not a breeder but my vet uses the drops in the nose. He won't have a dog boarded nor on an overnight hospital stay after a procedure without this. Jessica

The drops in the nose vs. injection? Not a big difference between the two. Just one is more commonly used than the other because of the absorption/reaction rate. No biggie. Either way, I'd get your dog done, EVEN IF they aren't being shown or being borded. jm2c It doesn't guarantee that they won't get it, but it increases their odds tremendously.
