| Amazing's Z'Legacy or Mia Thrilled to finally report on Mia's first official show and her first Point. She was fabulous as was my 19yo daughter who took her into the ring for me. We are doing this as a Mother/Daughter bonding sport and I couldn't have been happier with our weekend. Met so many great people. Everyone was very kind and delighted in teaching us the ropes. Made quite a few mistakes but learned from every one of them. As long as we improve and learn something each time, I will be happy. On Saturday Mia won Winner's Bitch and then Best of Opposite. On Sunday she won Best of Breed. Now, I have to be honest, the other three yorkies signed up for the show bowed out on Sunday. So, no points, but we are owning that Best of Breed and it allowed my daughter the Amazing (a nod to the best breeder in the world, Deb Sillers) experience of going into the group ring and seeing what that was all about. The judge was so sweet and talked to her up at the table and said she had a beautiful pup and she wasn't going to fuss too much with her. Not sure if that is good or bad but my daughter felt very good about her performance. Next show will be in three more weeks. Really need to work on grooming. I won't lie. We suck at it, lol. |

| Congratulations on that first point. It is really to bad the others did not show up the next day. Did you get a show picture taken? Best of luck in your future showings. It sounds like you are having lots of fun. It is a real learning experience. Hopefully you will connect with some of the more experienced breeder/exhibitors that will help mentor you. Just have fun and before you know it you will be grooming and showing like a pro.
