| We have the "after the show blues" Anyone else ever experience this? Mickey showed for the first time Fri Sat and Sun. He did great and I'm so proud of him. Any mistakes were all mine and I still have a lot to learn. We had so much fun, yes I was nervous too but still managed to have a good time and not make a total fool of myself! Now we are home with no more shows scheduled and I guess I need to give him a bath and put him back in oil but he looks so pretty right now, I just hate to! I think we have the after the show blues! Oh, I guess I should add that we came home with 3 blue ribbons but no points. |

Well good on you for those blues! There is a let down after shows. So much work and preparation. What I've done and seen done by many show exhibitors here, is after showing, we oil and wrap on site, then go home. I usually wash my boy on Wed after shows. So you had fun which is great. Have you got the show bug yet?

YT 1000 Club Member | Congrats Theresa, I know what you mean I have been away from the ring since the middle of May . I had some serious withdrawals there. But Knowing I am about to start it all again in a few weeks all the way til March so far. I am anxious to get back in the ring again. It is so much fun.

| I was so excited about finishing Ace at 19 months at the same show that he had gotten his first point exactly a year earler. It was exactly what I wanted, what we had worked so hard for. I got home and it took everything in me not to break down and cry. I still haven't cut Ace down and missed showing him so much last time I took Avery into the ring. There are definitely highs and lows when you're showing. You'll be back in the ring before you know it and next time you may take home the win. Think marathan, wrap your boy up and just enjoy the pet side of it until you get back on the saddle.

| I know what ya mean!! When it's Sunday and time to go home I'm ready but after a day or two I'm ready for another show weekend! I'm having withdrawals now! I haven't had a show in a month now and I'm going stir crazy!! I always wrap Radar before I leave but I don't put him in oil until I bathe him the next day on Monday. You'll have fun the next time you go out! Glad you had fun and Congrats on the blue ribbons!!! Donna |

| Glad to hear I'm not the only one! My boy is a little too young to wrap yet. He's not quite 10 months old but I thought I'd mention that one lady there, who by the way, has beautiful dogs and I guess she's a hair dresser too, anyways, once she was done showing, she started french braiding her dogs hair. She did each leg and I believe each side. Her pup had a beautiful coat so I guess she's doing something right! Has anyone ever heard of that instead of wrapping? |

Ace is dry wrapped, it's what works best for him. It takes a bit of experimenting but you'll find what is best for your boys coat.

| Congratulations! If I had seen this post I would not have emailed you. I am so happy for you. Glad I got my pup before you started selling "champions" or I would not be able to afford them. (lol). I praise you everyday for my healthy, happy, well adjusted little boy, Wyatt. Your the best. |

It's fun to start new pups but you miss showing the one that you finished.

| Congratulations on the ribbons! The trick to Show "let down", is to schedule another I like banding (french braiding) myself, less apt to have other dogs chew on the wraps. |
