| Are certain lines known for certain things? Like nice silky coats or nice heads etc? Just wondering what certain lines are known for? |

| I can only give my opinion but... I would say that most breeders are constantly trying to improve on or maintain certain features/qualities - so it's kind of hard to answer that definitively. I think each breeder has their own idea (based on the standard) of what they think the best representation of the breed should look like. So it's all in the eye of the beholder. I think what you could say is that certain lines have a certain "look". Some have the whole package - which everyone strives for. Some have great heads, tail set, coat color, topline, ear set etc. Some breeders like their dogs to be a little leggie some like them shorter and the list goes on. Again, I would add that I think after looking at a lot of show dogs that you can "start" to see what lines some dogs have in them. I love to guess

No one line is noted for nice silky coats, as most attempt to breed for them. Nice heads, yes, well all like them, but each has their own look.
