Biro Biewer ... what is it? This has been posted in a breeder discussion area also. What is a Biro Biewer? Is it a biewer variation on the chocolate yorkie? Do these pups have show potential? Is there a standard? PLEASE post pictures of yours if you have one. I looked on google and found nothing really. I did find one named Chawka Girl. Is she standard? I tried looking on some german sites but that was near impossible due to the confusion of translating etc. What a mess LOL. Can't wait to hear your thoughts, shared knowledge, questions, discussions. Thank you

I went and did a search on it and found out "Biro" means chocolate. Here is where I found it... Biewer Yorkie I am not sure if there is a standard or if they can be shown.

So do Biro biewers, are they not realy biewers? I'm getting a little girl (or atleast I'm trying to and its TAKING FOREVER to work out a deal). Is she not pure biewer? Her mom and dad and sisters are all normal colors. Both parents are imports (not to say that german breeders don't mix their litters but ... I know americans are huge in Designer Breeds).

Whether or not biro or standard biewers are mixes depends on the club you ask.

Pet pricing for female biewers varies a great deal. I've seen pricing vary from 2500 all the way up to 4200.

Biro Yorkie A few weeks ago I decided I was once again ready for a dog. I hadn't had one in 8 years. And Until 2 weeks ago I had no idea what a Brio Biewer Yorkie was. I got a Brio Biewer that was a rescue. She had a recessed chin and extra so the breeder did not want her. She basically left her in a kennel so I suspect the dog came from a puppy mill. What I can tell you from my experience (and this is a dog that was neglected). She is sweet, loving, stubborn, finicky and knows how to get her way. She is beautiful, even with the recessed chin. She has no idea how small she is and would take on the world to protect me. Would I pay 1500 to 2000 for a Brio Biewer, no but I wouldn't pay that for any dog. I don't mean to insult anyone but when dog breeds are mixed they are no longer pure breed. I don't care if they are called designer dogs or not. I realize its done to try to breed in the good traits of each breed but it also can breed in the unwanted traits. My dog is really sweet, she has some issues but I don't know if that is a trait from breeding or the environment she came from. I love her and do not regret my decision to get her.
