I wanted to get into breeding in the future and wanted to show but I think that I won't have the time to show but I do still want to get my dogs their champion titles. How much is the price range for a show handler?? Do you guys recommend any good handlers?

you need to copy and paste this on the show forum. but, I can tell you right off, it is very expensive to hire a handler. You will pay a monthly flat fee, boarding and etc. Then you will pay all show expenes and entry fees.

Depends on the handler you choose. If you have a yorkie I'd go with a toy handler really instead of an all breed handler. You can contact Mandy Carlson (although she's an all breed handler she shows alot of toys), Tonia Holibaugh, Trish Kulesa (not sure on the spelling), Kirsten McGreagor out of Georgia or you can pm LiL Miss Magic here on YT she's here in Texas and she's reasonable and great with the yorkies!! She also shows silkies.

I'm in Va. and in your neck of the woods we have David Fitzpatrick, Tammie Ford, Susan ( I can't remember her last name at the moment but she is in Richmond), just to name a few. You should come to the next Specialty that the Yorkshire Terrier Club of the Nation's Capital will be putting on. It's held in DC and is usually the first of Oct. Alot of the top breeders and some excellent handlers will be there.

What about Luke and Diane and is Zack Watkins in your area too? I don't know many on the east coast!

Luke and Diane are west of here, in Ohio I believe. They are very good as well, in fact they are the handlers that my breeder recommends for Connor.

They are very good! Although I've never used them of course but I've seen them in action! They handle alot for Barbara Scott!

Around here Barbara handlers Her own, usually Jimmy. She's a real sweetheart and a member of YTCNC.

I know she breeder/owner/handles A LOT LOL but when she can't she lets them go with Luke and Diane LOL....I got to see Jimmy in NY and what a beauty he is and I just love the cover of YTM this past one that we received. Barbara is a sweetheart! My friend here in Texas has alot of her lines and still gets her yorkies from her

Where is the next roving? Is that the one in Kansas City next month?

The roving nationals is in Chicago the weekend after labor day. Three specialities that weekend.

Chicago is quite a road trip but it would be so fun to have a meet up. I wonder if Laurie would accompany me and we could get the gals from JaLa to meet up with us there. That would be such a blast!!

Oh that would be GREAT! We are going without dogs just to go watch and see everyone and all the beautiful yorkies!!! Several of us from TX is coming this year! I know a couple of us from Dallas area and then a couple from Houston are coming! Would be nice to see you guys!

You'll really enjoy it! I personally never have attended the roving nationals only attend the one in NY but I'm sure it's almost the same! It will be great with the red bow girls hosting it!
