| I'm new to the show idea... And had a few questions? How do I find a mentor? How do I find a show quality yorkie? I'd liek to learn all I can about showing before I start thinking of buyin a show quality yorkie... |

| I would start by going to dog shows in your area. Meet other Yorkie exhibitors and hopefully you will hit it off with some of them and they will become your mentors. Maybe they will let you show their dogs so you can learn the ins and outs and how to present a dog to a judge. Not all exhibitors are nice and some are wary of new people. To find shows in your area, go to infodog.com. Also, you might look up YTCA.org and see what breeders are in your area. Best of luck!! |
