floppy ears? Ok I need help getting blossom's ears to stand up. They are floppy and I would like them up if they would go. I have shaved them and tried to tape them but that did not work is their another way or is it too late for her ears. She is almost 10 mos. old. So am I wasting my time or is there something else I could try to possibly get them to stay up? I would like to possibly show her but her ears are keeping me from this. Help if you can. Thanks in advance. Tracy

I wish I could give you some encouraging advise but in most cases if they are not up by 10 months then most likely they will not come up. If you have been shaving them and taping them, I can't think of anything else you can do. Are they trying to come up or are they floppy against her head?

well they kind of stand off her head and most of the ear flops over like a collie or something like that. Most of the ear is floppy. Their is no broken cartilage that I can feel. I shave the ears weekly and fold the ears then tape each ear and then tape them to be connected with a bar of tape between them. This is how I was told to do it. I leave it on for approx 5 days then let them rest for three and do it again. She hates having tape on her ears. Oh well if they dont stand she is still my pretty baby and thats how they will stay I guess. Is this something that happens often with yorkies?? She is the first one that I have seen like this. Thanks for all your help Tracy
