Deana, I didn't think you were going so I didn't enter. Bummer. My friend Jan will be there. You will have to meet her. She is so nice. She has a lovely Bred By out of her Tiptop boy. I have never beaten him. I told her I will be glad when she gets him finished and out of the way . Carol is coming from Michigan with her boy from the same breeding. With the addition of Robbie, you guys should have a great time.

If you start having eye stain problems with the Maltese, I have a wonderful remedy given to me by the owner of the Pure Paws Company. It works best when used at the first signs of a stain. Once the stain is set in it takes awhile to work. I bought Eye Envy and I can't tell a change at all. Total waste of money!

I didn't think I would be going but oh so need to get away and have some fun.
I am hoping to head south to show some this year.
I have tried the eye envy and didnt see a change, then i just started him again on it and also removed some hairs around the corner of the eye and with that I am seeing some change.

A Maltese is beautiful with black bows and a handler dressed in black and red is best for Yorkies. I have heard people of other breeds speak of the "sea of red" at the Yorkie ring.

It was so #*@% cold this past week that I didn't care what color I wore but I had planned red top and a black jacket. I was going to remove my jacket after I showed my Maltese.

It was so funny Sat. Three people had the same pants on and we were all standing side by side. I didn't know that pinstripes were so popular.

I saw a girl show a Maltese at one show wearing all black and it was so funny, she was covered in powder
I have his black bows and his lead black with the white neckband.

Well I am sure you will all have fun! Your boys are gorgeous and I am sure it will be a blast taking them out for the first time! It would have been great to be there...I am doing my best to keep from showing this last 4 weeks before finals. Lots to do but will be sneaking away with the pups to class tomorrow night

Jackie, Deana - you know how I feel about your pups. I love those European faces. Better not get them near me, I might have to sneak one in my pocket. I don't have a class Yorkie to show. I am waiting on my Daisy's litter. She is due at the end of May. My first as breeder. I am so excited! Mom has always bred the dogs and I show them. She told me that she has bred her last litter. Robbie's Maverick is the end of the line.

You can actually do a puppy top knot on a maltese and it be one bow for a puppy. Most maltese puppies are shown with one top knot and done almost like a yorkie topknot. I watch Tonia Holibaugh show alot of puppies and I've seen most puppies with one top knot

My boy has both the single bow and the pair of bows.
His topknot is not real full yet so I may do the one bow.

Tonia always does one bow on her puppies and actually here in Texas I see most maltese puppies with one bow and the when they are older and with ALOT of coat they have the two little bow top knots

I haven't quite mastered the 2 bow topknot. I wish I could watch Tonia.
In my opinion, she is best Toy handler. She has certainly had the most sucess. She is also very nice. Have you met Angie Stanberry? Tonia shows lots of her dogs. I got my girl from her. I am thrilled to have a Divine girl. I can't wait to finally show her.
