| YT 1000 Club Member  |  Show/Breeders.. Please Read! Hello, All! I just wanted to say, “THANK YOU!” Thank you breeders for helping creating the breed today. Thank you for striving to improve the standard. Thank you for just doing what you do. I do not show or breeder so I don’t know what you go through fully, but I think (keyword: think) I know a part of what you go through. I never really thought about showing and the breeders that do. I just thought, “Hey, these dogs are gorgeous! I want one!” But after doing so much research, I just had to say thank you. I wouldn’t be able to get one of these wonderful dogs if it wasn’t for you all. I may not get a dog from you, but at the end, when I do get my dog, I kind of would be getting a dog from you. You share the same goals and hopefully (for some) they are for the betterment of the breed... To see (read) many of you pulling a job as well as showing is really admirable. If I were to decide to show, I hope to be just like you. And then to be able to ignore the negative vibes and words some may throw you way! I know it all comes with it and it’s great to see that you are willing and strong enough to go through what you do, so people like me are able to get one of your dogs (because the breed is yours). Any how, I do have more to say but I have something to do, I will post more later, But hopefully you can understand what I’m saying… Thank You!

|  I second that! Thank you all for breeding for the right reasons - to improve the breed and to breed healthy excellent specimans of the breed. Thankyou for health testing your dogs and making sure they go to the best homes possible and then being there for anything the new owners need help with. When I am finally able to add another yorkie baby to my life one day, it will definitely come from one of you wonderful show breeders out there.
__________________ Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs. Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue. |
