| Four Yorkies In Conroe, Texas There are four yorkies newly listed on petfinder that are in the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. I'm continuing to try and reach them by phone, but so far, no answer. If anyone out there lives close, let's get these babies out of jail. They're all welcome at my house. | Oh my gosh, they sure have a LOT of dogs and cats at that Shelter. I hope someone adopts them or at least they get into a rescue's hands before their time is up.

| Shelter Yorkies in TX Hi there!! I have attempted to contact the shelter by phone with no luck, so I've just emailed them stating that I would like to foster all four Yorkie babies. We are a 7 or 8 hour drive from the shelter but I told them in the email that I would make the drive tomorrow morning if the dogs are still available. The shelter has provided esentially no information about these kids, so I'm not sure what we're looking at, but hopefully they will get back to me with information regarding their requirements and fees and I will be able to bring them home very soon!! Keep your fingers crossed!! And if anyone else should happen to get in touch with the shelter, please send them my way!! They may email me directly at denalamkin@aol.com Thanks thanks!!

Oh, please keep me updated. I tried many, many times yesterday to reach them by phone. I'm only a couple of hours away. It would be awesome if you could get them. What a love you are to drive so far. Please let me know if I can help. Jacki | |

| Still no word via email from the shelter, and not able to get through on the phone.... Maybe since you are only a couple of hours away, you could take a drive out and see if they are still available - and maybe "break them out"!! Says they are open 7 days a week..... let me know what you are able to find out - I'll be glad to help in any way I can!!

| I'm still getting that funky busy signal. I finally called the other shelter in Conroe and they confirmed the number. She said we'd just have to keep trying. I live halfway between Houston and Galveston and there's no way I can get there before the weekend. If anyone is closer and can go check on them, please. You guys keep me posted. Jacki |
