These two yorkies are at the Haralson County Animal Control shelter in

Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie

Size: Small
Age: Senior
Gender: Female
ID: I.07.6.30.6.A&B

Notes: we were just brought to the shelter on 6.30.07. The lady that turned
us in said that we were about 12 years old and that we had belong to her
father-n-law which is now is the nursing home and that she was moving back
to where she was from and couldn't and wasn't going to take us with her. We
are very old but still have lots of spunk and love to go around. We need a
good home. My friends at the shelter are all hard at work trying to make us
comfortable but things would be alot better if we knew that we were in a
good home to make our own.

They are beautiful, the owner must be feeling horrible to realize that they are in a shelter. I know that if anything ever happened to me a family member would take my babies, unfortunately not all pets are so lucky. Hoping someone will adopt them together or a rescue will pick them up and find them forever homes.

Oh that makes me so sad. They are in their golden years and don't deserve to be in a shelter. I hope someone close can give them a good home to live out their remaining years....together.

Going from the photos, they look like they were taken care of. I agree that they deserve a cushy retirement. Hope someone close feels the same way.

Sad...they look so sweet, and deserve the best life has to offer. Hard to believe someone they know wouldn't take them. Pray they find a wonderful home, forever, together.
