Looking For A Yorkie to Rescue Hello Everyone! My friend is looking for a rescue yorkie near Fredericksburg Virginia. Because she does have 4 children, she does need one that likes kids & is used to the commotion of a full house. Her interest is in a healthy yorkie, rather than one needing to be nursed back to health. She's a stay at home mother, so the yorkie would be spoiled full time! Also, she would prefer a yorkie that is at least 5 lbs.....and the bigger the better! Any teapots out there needing a new loving home?? Oh, I guess I should also mention that she can't spend a great deal of money but I know that she will offer a loving home to a yorkie needing a new forever family. Thanks!!

I got a response back from the contact at the yorkie rescue group & they will not allow families to adopt if they have children under the age of 11. Anyone else out there know of a yorkie needing a new home in virginia??

Oh my God. I made the mistake of looking at the rescue sites. I'm crying my eyes out and I have to go clothes shopping in a few minutes. I have to compose myself and put a cold rag on my eyes. I KNEW I should not have looked before I had to go out someplace. God Bless the rescue places for taking them in.

I feel the same way when I read their story so I stay away from it when I'm on PMS..... Before I got Momiji, I look through the site to see if I can find a baby there. I don't mind if it isn't the AKC or came from rescue. I found one that I wanted to adopt but it was in Southern California and they won't let me adopt since I'm not local... (I'm from Northan California) So I end up bringing home pure bread baby and I am soooo in love with her. Maybe next one will be a rescue!!!! Kana & Momiji | |

I have a teapot male for sale/adoption. He is going to be neutered this week. I'm asking $400 for him. I have 6 kids in the house. He is use to kids, cats, dogs, horses, you name it. His coat never mats. he's an easy keeper, uses a doggie door, and i will ship him. Kristie

You sure can...ask away He is UKC registered (so basically not, ) I am trying to get into showing/breeding and am only concentrating on quality AKC registered tested dogs. He is not close to breed standard and being such, I feel its best to find him a pet home. I have 6 kids, 3 horses, a cat, 2 birds a Mastiff, and FIVE YORKIES!! I need to downsize a bit. He is the obvious choice. He's great with everything, and if I don't find a YTer to take him, I'm most likely going to place him with my grandma for her 80th birthday...a bit early. (Her bday is in August). Thanks for asking. Kristie
