| I always wished I could take out a full page ad about puppy mills in all the major newspapers, or buy billboards going into MO and PA teliing people about them! Maybe someone in advertising can develope a marketing plan and we can come up with a grass roots media blitz. Just an idea.

| Or better yet...there maybe billboards next to these puppy mills, and we can rent the space right next to it. |

| That is a good place for a billboard. I know that there are puppymills everywhere, but I have heard that there are a lot of them in PA. Just what I have heard. |

| I live in PA and it's usually only one spicific area of our state that is a puppymill which might explain why I always see Yorkies in the pet store for 1899.99 and it might have a heart murmur!!! It's really sad and cruel what they do to these tiny, poor, little defenseless creatures!!! |

| I am 10 minutes from Lancaster where alot of the puppy mills are. I will not support them. Would rather travel hundreds of miles away ) I decided to get Gizmo from NY and our new furbaby is coming from Ohio next weekend. Gizmo05's mom

| Ever so often, I write to lots and lots of news papers, and talk shows in hopes that they will do a show or investigate puppy mills. I think if more people did this, it would take notice. I think there are alot of people on this forum, but not a lot of people write in. Maybe some people don't know what to say. But if we had all of the people on this forum write one letter a week, just think what that could do. I write one letter and send it to everyone I can think of. Then I wait a week, and then send another letter. Just think if these places got 3,000 letters a week on this issue, that would be 12,000 emails a month. I think 12,000 a month is noticeable. Just a thought. James |

| Good for you James!!! Well James, maybe you can start a new thread and post a draft letter (the one you use and others can add input or make other drafts) and where you get your email address's from and which ones were used (so we are not spamming people) and let's get started!!! I think we are all on here (the internet) a considerable amount of time to copy, paste and send these emails out!!! Wouldn't you all agree? How hard can it be? We don't like what we see and/or hear...Let's do somthing about it!!! Gizmo05's mom

| The thing is, I think there was thread that started awhile back, and that was what prompted me to write, and I write major news channels like ABC, CBS, OPRAH, and the latest one was 20/20 after the SPCA thing. I think there are number of people on here who are more verse than I am and can draft a better letter than I can. I'm sure there are people on here who have more information about puppymills and have detail information that I don't. That is the person that should draft a letter. Is there anyone that can draft a great, straight to the point letter that we can use? But incase there is no one...I will start to draft a letter...like you said the internet does wonders. |
