I don't know if you meant me when you said this - I wasn't being critical - people were asking why you were rehoming her. Reading previous posts by someone gives people a feel for who is selling/rehoming their pets.

I love the feature of being able to read previous posts! I recently rehomed an adult dog & it really helped me determine she would be going somewhere she would be loved and cared for. It was not an easy decision and I don't know if I could do it again but at least I know she is being spoiled and cared for, which was my main concern.

I hope that you are as lucky as I was to find a great home for this bundle of love. She's over standard, but just more to love. Best of luck!

Default Anyone interested in a spayed female

I have seen Yorkies of all sizes from large 18 lb ones to tiny ones. They all have the same lovable Yorkie personality and the beautiful Yorkie features. I am not a breeder and while I know that there are breed standards for all breeds there are also a lot of people out there who love the breed but can't afford to pay the price for a tiny yorkie. As far as I'm concerned there will always be a place for those "non-standard" beauties that some breeders put down.

Hi,
I was just thinking about this little girl and wondering if you ever found a good home for her? I don't need another dog, but was hoping you had luck in placing her.

I agree....My neighbor wanted a bigger yorkie and he is the sweetest little guy ever. He is 11 pounds... Just because a yorkie isn't the standard 7 pounder doesn't mean they shouldn't be bred. These bigger yorkies bring much love and meaning to many peoples lives, why would any one be upset they are being bred???

Thanks for asking, but no, we haven't placed her in a new home yet. I guess it just takes the right family to come along and see her. She is an absolute sweetheart and loves attention, she is a big lapdog! I certainly can't understand why nobody would be interested in adopting her as she is perfect for a family pet. I'll keep you posted if I find her a home!

Hi Debbie,
I also have a teapot Yorkie. Buddy is 13lbs and I would not trade him for all the tea in china. However, so many people like the tiny ones. Perhaps if she
were free ( because of her age & weight) she might find her forever home.
Just a thought. Good luck. She is adorable.

And I've got the "flowerpot" yorkie Gabby tips the scales at 16 pounds and I love all 256 ounces of her...LOL! Debbie, hope you find a wonderful forever home for her soon. Wish I lived closer, I'd take her

Debbie,

So glad she has found a home. As you said in a previous post, the right family for her (and you) had not come along yet.....til now. Thanks for the update!
