ON MONDAY, JULY 17, 2006. I hated to take this poor girl's pic "behind bars," but every time I tried to open her cage to snap her pic, she tried so hard to come out and say hello. She is a pudgy older lady, most likely spayed, and has a loving, gentle demeanor. If you wish to adopt this dog, please CALL (do not e-mail) the shelter IMMEDIATELY at (770) 467-4772 to arrange for the paperwork to be filled out (in person or by fax) PRIOR to 4:30 p.m. on the dog's listed date. But her eyes shine bright and her tail wags softly when you talk to her. Very friendly, spunky little girl who really wanted some attention. | I believe if the counties or states would sponser FREE spay and neuter clinics a lot of this could be avoided and it would be less costly in the long run. Why don't they just get a clue. They handle the problem after the fact and they refally need to be proactive on this issue. |

| MayBE tax money could be put aside for this and I feel sure a lot more owners would respond if their were free spay/neuter days once a month or some other proposal that would help these issues because gas chambers are so cruel. How can these contraptions still be in existence and be thouht of as a humane way to be used as a euthanasia device.Seems unethical and anyone involved with gas chambers on animals should be cited.Sorrybut I get going on the soapbox.Cathy and Yoshi |
